• 1-AA/FCS has existed for 48 seasons
• NDSU was post-season eligible for 18
• Despite being eligible 37.5% of the time the subdivision has existed, NDSU has 20.8% of ALL available titles

Why would NDSU give up the security of contending for Championships for possible bowl games? • NDSU would be immediately competitive in the MWC • They just saw JMU go to the CFP at breakneck speed, and they generally ate JMU for lunch

Why try to make that a state law though? IMO, it doesn't make much sense to do this. If a company wants to do business with an athlete after the athlete is no longer in college, they can just terminate previous contract and enter into a new one.
