@SigmaTechRBLX No. It was clear from the beginning the intent of the creation of this was not for educational purposes, especially at a time where Roblox is facing massive scrutiny for you know what. This content would not be appropriate for the platform under any circumstances imo lol

So my official stance on this is that I'm both shocked by the words "Epstein Island is on Roblox!" AND at the same time, somewhat confusingly, I'm also astonished by the detail in this map. In some ways, as a historical archive or the duty of the press, I can see how this could be something like a scale model for educational purposes HOWEVER, just KNOWING how Roblox players are, someone's going to find a way to roleplay inappropriately. If it were up to me, if this game wanted to stay up, there would be a few options that escalate based on abuse reports: 1) Remove emotes. If people still act inappropriately, 2) Remove characters and exclusively only allow freecam. At this point if people are just acting too inappropriately, there should really be no ability to play around this thing. 3) If all of this fails, restrict the game to single-person servers. Characters and animations may return because there's nobody to witness that. Again, as a historical archive, it's pretty eye-opening to witness. However, what I'm primarily concerned about are social interactions within the game.

@MaximumADHD I made a comment last November on a gripe I had with the needless truncation with the new UI and all I heard back was "we've made an internal ticket about it" The fact that you made a couple of tweets on this topic already suggests maybe taking it out of beta wasn't a great idea

I just wanna be clear: You guys are allowed to hate Studio's new UI, that's not what I have an issue with. I just think it'd be more productive to provide actual feedback to Roblox engineers instead of refusing to use and get used to it.

This scared me when I first heard about it, but I think people should know that only 30 games on the entire platform have to pay for this. You have to put in an insane amount of effort to write code so poorly that you have to pay for DataStores.

Hi Alex, the lovely team over at RB Battles coordinated with us at Shrimp Game directly and wanted to ensure everything went smoothly. What ended up happening was related to a change made a few weeks back: to fill up the 50 player zones faster, we changed the cap to 75 for the lobby, after which we saw an immediate improvement and zones started filling up faster: Because the lobby could fit up to 75 players, and the zones still being capped at 50 players, this resulted in 2 servers being created as soon as the zone was overfilled. This important change could have been better communicated by us well in advance but instead became an oversight on our end because we were not expecting more than 50 players in the zone. Should also mention this created some extra confusion because Roblox doesn't support voice chat for more than 50 player servers. In summary, we want to avoid situations like this in the future by making it super easy and seamless to host these events, and I strongly believe in our role as developers to leave no room for this sort of ambiguity in the future.

BTW we used the RB Battles Squid Game live stream as an opportunity for us to try and make the most over-the-top stream setup ever so we can use it for future RBB streams. We spent like 2 weeks messing with stream FX & stuff and tech issues aside, I think we did a pretty good job achieving that. What do you think?

@JoeBartolozzi_ Proximity chat is disabled at first, but once the game starts (after everyone teleports) it gets enabled! Furthermore, the private server owner can disable revives in the settings after everyone is teleported as well. Followed you back, let me know if you need further help!

@V_Champion_ Hey I’m hosting a charity event tomorrow with like 20 streamers and one of the games we wanted to do was shrimp games, saw you were a dev and that private games have proximity chat disabled, is there a way to give us access to that so we can use it for the event?
