Bullpen Stock
We made it one week!! (Fantrax Roster %)
Stock Up📈
Paul Sewald (40%) He's the closer. His roster % is criminal right now
Jordan Romano (57%): He's the closer. Hop on the Rollercoaster
Mark Leiter Jr. (9%) Is he the closer no? Not in my opinion. Is he worth a roster spot. Not in my opinion. Did he convert the teams 1st save? Yes and that means enough to move his stock up
Tyler Alexander (16%) Still not buying him as the closer but if they have a chance today he'll get it due to usage of the other guys.
Victor Vodnik (26%) He's bad but the rest of the bullpen is worse. He'll close the very few chances they see
(Keep adding Erceg and Baker)
Stock Watch
Kenley Jansen (94%) No concern. Rushed into the game
Dennis Santana (81%) Interesting usage yesterday. 8th inning to clean up a mess. Not ideal for saves.
Stock Down📉
Will Vest (60%): Very high for saves. Bad night tonight. He's a guy I'd cut since I prefer Kyle Finnegan if Kenley goes down

@GettheSave9th Got it so even the pre-season/ADP hype of Abreu you’d still fade him over Walker? I’m likely dropping Walker anyways once Hader comes off IL so I can activate him, so I figured him or Abreu would only be a temporary one anyways
@VickersJack I probably would for Erceg but its close. If Estévez went to the IL I would do it in a heartbeat.
Abreu got rocked today and his velo was down. I'm avoiding him in saves leagues with Hader likely to return.
Bullpen New
Has the 1st domino fallen?
Stock Up 📈
Lucas Erceg: Did we all see big Steve last night? At 42% rostered Erceg is a must add. If you need a closer stop reading this and pick him up
Paul Sewald: If they can get him a chance he's the closer: 37% rostered
Cole Sands: Feel like he'll see the most chances. Bad team so if he sees 60% of the chances it might not be worth it. 19% Rostered
Bryan Baker/Edwin Uceta: I'd add Baker today with Jax struggling. Uceta could be back by May and is worth a stash. 12%/45% Rostered
Stock Volatile
Griffin Jax: Don't cut him but the start he has had is not ideal
Robert Garcia/Chris Martin: I dont like either. especially Garcia but ill put them here since the runs were unearned. One of them will get the next chance.
Emilio Pagán: Same as Hoffman yesterday. Not an ideal start to the season but the job is still his for now
Ryne Stanek: I wish i could say it went down but I feel like they will still use him in the 9th
Justin Sterner: He didn't pitch yesterday and the rest of the Athletics did. They all were bad. He'll get chances late in games
Stock Down 📈
Carlos Estévez: Biggest loser of the day. Something is wrong. Give him an "injury" to figure it out what. The comebacker off the ankle is looking like the excuss
Juan Morillo: He isn't closing anything. Can be cut.
Matt Svanson: 6 runs in 1IP this year. Cut him in normal leagues. 3 guys ahead of him
Michael Kelly: No more save chances for you

@GettheSave9th So if I own Ryan Walker, you wouldn’t drop him for Abreu if the owner just dropped him to waivers after drafting him 194? Also have Hader on IL so would be an easy swap out once he returns

Estévez is down until he proves he is healthy. Romano moves up into the sick pups but that could end quickly. I like the top guy in the two man groups. They Rays move down into the swamp but it's the best group of pitchers the swamp has ever seen. The bottom 3 teams could have other guys in the bullpen get chances I'm just listing the most likely 3. Really I want nothing to do with any of them.

Bullpen News
It's a long season
Stock Up 📈
Jordan Romano: LAA closer only rostered in 36% of fantrax leagues. If you need saves he'll get chances. Likely off today after throwing 2 in a row
Hogan Harris: Pitched in the 7th and 8th but pitched well. Keep an eye on him
Edgardo Henriquez: LAD 8th inning usage is nice
Stock Volatile (Dont worry too much yet)
Jeff Hoffman: Blown Save in his 1st outing allowing a dong.
Ryan Walker: Not the ideal opening outing but it was in a non save.
Jeremiah Estrada: Control issues in the 8th
Stock Down 📉
Kevin Ginkel: Not worth rostering until Sewald blows a save and even then it's not like he's a shoe in for the spot. I would drop him
Justin Sterner: Took the L pitching in a tied 9th inning. Started well but ended poorly. It's not a great outing and compared to Harris it looks even worse. If you have him rostered though I would hold.
@GettheSave9th Didn’t go RP for my 2 slots til late so my 2nd was Grant Taylor, figured it was at least improvement from him with more save chances even if not much strikeout upside
@VickersJack I'm not a big Walker fan but I think that's a good move. His doesn't really have any competition at the moment so he should have all the chances to start the year
@GettheSave9th Well that makes me feel MUCH better! Just based on win projections/save chances on that team, or think he will be a bigger strikeout guy this year?
