#PowerBI folks... I need some dummy datasets for a variety of industry demos we are building. I know the Contesso (sp?) dataset gets used a lot for Power BI demos, but has anyone found a place that offers prebuilt up "demosets" to play with? Looking for data for doctors offices, HR, finance (ebitda), etc. Paid or Free is fine!

After some contemplation, I've decided to run the #PowerBI & #Fabric Summit 2024. It hasn't been easy, and with zero energy, it would've been much easier to cancel it altogether. However, Leila worked tirelessly on her laptop, organizing the Summit in her last days at the hospital. I didn't want her efforts to be in vain; this summit was her baby, after all. We have a big task ahead of us, but we have the support of 140 speakers, the #Microsoft product team, #RADACAD, and our lovely community and friends. I'm determined to make Leila proud of this event, just as she was of the prior ones.

@jonobacon I was grumbling just last week about having to do this... again! In my case it was even for an event at which I like to speak, but it required multiple hours that I could have put to much better use.

@Rad_Reza I'm so sorry to hear about Leila's passing, Reza. I only met the two of you once, during those wonderful days in Chicago, but I knew then that there was a special blend of intellect, organizational skills, and fun that the two of you shared. Blessings to you and your families.

Leila passed away 8 am today 31st if December 2023. I never have seen anyone suffering so much yet be always positive She was the symbol of bravery and strength She was a loving wife, best friend, tech guru, and most importantly an amazing human being. In my life I am honored to call her not only my life partner but also mentor. Our world was very small for her big heart I had the privilege of being with her for 17 years, the best years of my life She endured unbearable suffering in the past 11 months. She is in peace now, no more pain for you. Such a big loss for me, your friends, the global Microsoft community and anyone who knew him.

@AaronKoelker Constrained by the 8.5" width of the (10 character per second!) printer, but having seemingly endless rolls of yellow paper, we picked geographies that were long and narrow to map. Vermont; California; Italy... so your project looks famililar!

The biggest drawback to Windows 11 IMHO? That I can't position the taskbar on the left, which is where I want it in my 3-screen setup. Just found a solution: startallback.com So far it's great. Assuming nothing breaks in the next week it's a bargain at US$5. #startisback
