@AlternatNews Does "taking it slowly" mean having 500,000+ casualties in just over 2 years and still being only 30km from the Russian border. If Putin is selling that to the Russian people as "progress in the invasion", the Russian people are misled beyond belief!

Putin explains that a large offensive would cost too many casualties and so they are taking it slowly. There is a million Russian soldiers in reserve. They are not needed until NATO attacks. Having said that, Macron is going to lose his snap election

@GabeZZOZZ Is that from Russia's history book, or a real world history book. NB. 1. Russia helped the Nazis invade Poland in 1939 2. Russia swapped sides in 1941 because Stalin would get a better deal from the allies 3. Britain fought the Nazis for 2 years before Russia

@ivan_8848 Why would the US even want to have weapons in the Ukraine pointed at Moscow. They would already have the capability to strike Moscow with their existing weapons. If that's the best excuse Putin has for invading the Ukraine, he's more delusional than ever!

@BRICSinfo Wouldn't want to rely too much on Russian currency, it won't be worth having in the near future. Their GDP is higher thanks to making expendable weapons, but their exports are reducing. Putin will need to print more money to prop up the economy!

@narrative_hole Most people seem to conveniently forget that Russia sided with Hitler to invade Poland at the beginning of WW2. Stalin only switched sides because he thought he'd get a better deal from the allies!
