@AshtonForbes There are probably few bullets that have killed more people than the 30-06, the primary weapon of the us military in ww2 was the M1, it’s a pretty standard rifle round, there are probably a couple hundred thousand dead Nazis without exit wounds

@RealCandaceO Minimal damage? You know he died right? No exit wound isn’t the same as no damage you are a fucking moron

It’s so “overwhelming” we have gun that not even the bomb dogs could trace, a magical bullet that caused minimal damage to Charlie’s neck though it would have taken down a bear, and of course, a scene that was paved over the next day. Just soooooo overwhelming.

It’s 2026. No one is believing in a magic bullet theory. Please just shut up. It’s frankly annoying and patronizing to keep claiming the evidence is OVERWHELMING. If it’s so obvious, why not cease hiding behind microphones to spew propaganda and instead host open discussions?

@BlakeSNeff Sorry but a 30.06 does not enter a human body, bounce off a spine "of steel," and then remain ensconced inside. It blows someone's head off.

Tyler Robinson literally confessed to his parents, and was turned in by them, and has his DNA all over the weapon used to kill Charlie. But some people are so obsessed with hating Israel, the same thing they are obsessed with literally every day, that they will try to help a murderer get off so they can keep pursuing their daily obsession. substack.com/home/post/p-19…

@LizzieMarbach Sharing your own testimonial and sharing your wife’s aren’t the same thing, his duty as a husband includes protecting his wife’s honor and dignity, it does not include exposing her to the scrutiny of strangers

I am failing to see how sharing your wife’s testimony and speaking about the redemptive work of Christ & the gospel is a bad thing? Someone please explain.

I have some quibbles about the way Trevor wrote this, but the people mocking it fundamentally don’t understand their own sin, or they would understand what it means to be cleansed of it.
Trevor Sheatz@TrevorSheatz

My wife was formerly promiscuous. I was a virgin. She was then radically born-again. Committed to church, evangelized constantly, Puritan books in her bedroom, prayer journals, grief over past sexual sin, etc. We got to know each other well for over a year, dated for four months, engaged for two and a half, and didn't sin sexually with one another. Our first kiss with each other was at the altar on our wedding day (reaction pic attached!). We've been married for over five years now, and she's been the most wonderful and godly wife, mother to our three children, and homemaker you could imagine. She's more pure than most virgins, as biblical purity has less to with past sins (though they certainly matter) and more to do with one's current posture of the heart and daily decisions to honor the Lord (Matt. 5:8). We're far too quick to forget the story of the woman labeled as a known "sinner" (likely a prostitute) in Luke 7:36-50 who was washing Jesus' feet with her tears while kissing them too. The Pharisees were shocked that Jesus let a public sinner do this. Jesus responded with a parable about debts being forgiven and ended with this powerful conclusion: "Her many sins have been forgiven; that’s why she loved much. But the one who is forgiven little, loves little" (Luke 7:47). Everyone seems to highlight the benefits of virginity, and it certainly is a blessing. But we forget to highlight the benefits of being forgiven much as well. My wife knows the depths of Jesus' forgiveness more than most people, enabling her to more easily live out a life of passionate love for her Savior. A woman or man's past sexual sin matters. But what matters far more when it comes to deciding who to marry is if the person is truly born again, if their repentance is real, if they truly have a heart for Christ, if they truly follow Jesus and obey his commands. "God has chosen what is foolish in the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen what is weak in the world to shame the strong. God has chosen what is insignificant and despised in the world — what is viewed as nothing — to bring to nothing what is viewed as something, so that no one may boast in his presence. It is from him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became wisdom from God for us — our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, — in order that, as it is written: 'Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.'" (1 Cor. 1:27-31) "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, and see, the new has come!" (2 Cor. 5:17)

@Watchmakermaker It sounds like your issue isn't really that he wrote the post and she retweeted it, but that her testimony is being told at all.

@jwsherrod my issue is the messenger not the message, she can give her testimonial till she is blue in the face, he should stick to his story, if he wants to retweet hers fine, but he should not speak about his wife’s past in public I don’t care if it has a happy ending or if she consents

@jwsherrod His duty as a husband to protect his wife’s honor and dignity is not dependent on his wife’s consent or permission

@jwsherrod Talking about your wife’s promiscuous past isn’t dignified, her being “ok” with it or encouraging it, doesn’t therefore make it dignified

I don’t really understand the people shaming this guy for sharing his and his wife’s testimony, provided she was OK with him sharing. He wasn’t specific, just shared how the Lord redeemed her and what a godly wife and mom she is today. I’m gonna be honest, in a world in which we are constantly posting details about our lives, how Christ changed us is the most important information we can share. The world needs to hear—I was just like you once, and God saved me from that. which means he can save you too! Why wouldn’t we want to tell people that story?
