Once when a donor asked, “Senator Graham why are you helping Blake, given how much you two disagree on foreign policy?” he replied with a grin: “So Blake’s wrong about Ukraine... who gives a shit? We aren’t here to talk about how correct I am all the time, we’re here to talk about getting the Senate majority. Because I want to be chairman of my committees!” Lindsey was cheerful and determined and he understood that he played a team sport. May his memory be eternal.

South Carolina’s Governor can appoint an interim Republican senator to serve until the vacancy is filled under state law. But since Lindsay Graham had already won the Republican nomination just a month ago, the South Carolina GOP would need to choose a replacement nominee all over again. Here’s how this works. On the second Tuesday after today, candidate filing opens for one week. The special primary is then held on the second Tuesday after filing closes. So that’s July 28. If no candidate wins a majority, there is a runoff two weeks later.

I disagreed with Senator Lindsey Graham on a number of issues, but this is how I am going to choose to remember him. Fighting for the confirmation of Justice Brett Kavanaugh. Lindsey 2.0 was something else. RIP.

This is shocking and out of nowhere. A lot of conservatives had ample criticism for Graham. He was a war hawk for whom it was always the day after 9/11, and pushed for a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants in 2013. But when a man dies we ought to remember what was best about him. It’s worth remembering the role Graham played in blocking Justice Merrick Garland, and ramming through Brett Kavanaugh in the face of a despicable smear campaign against him. The country is much better off from his role in that. RIP and condolences to his friends and family.

Great, methodical post from @aburkhartlaw. The point that no .30–06 rifle was found in Robinson’s home, despite all the ammo he had, is a great piece of underrated evidence.

Here is my list of the evidence (documentary and testimonial) presented by the State during Tyler Robinson's hearing. Because this is a probable cause hearing where all reasonable inferences from the evidence will be drawn in favor of the State, I have described this evidence consistent with the State's interpretation of it because that is how the court will consider it for PC purposes. Gunshots heard at 12:23 p.m. on 9/10/25 Screwdriver found on Losee Center Roof DNA found on the screwdriver with strong support for inclusion of Tyler Robinson as the major contributor if Lance Twiggs is the minor contributor Sniper pad on the roof UVU surveillance footage of the person on the roof, showing activities at time of Charlie’s murder consistent with a shooter as well as the person’s subsequent flight with something his hand Shoe impression at the NE corner of Losee Center corroborating video Scuffs near NE corner of Losee Center corroborating video Medical Examiner conclusion that Charlie's cause and manner of death is homicide by gunshot wound Bullet jacket fragment and 4 bullet lead fragments recovered during Charlie’s autopsy – jacket measured as consistent with .30 caliber class bullet UVU surveillance footage of three additional visits to campus by the same individual pictured at the time of the shooting, wearing different clothing, visiting amphitheater where shooting occurred as well as Losee Center roof. In my opinion, the most damning evidence presented was text messages in which Tyler told Lance that he had left the rifle in a bush wrapped in a towel. This is highly incriminating because it accurately describes the condition the gun was found in, and that information was not public when Tyler sent this text. These messages were read into the record at the timestamps below: youtube.com/live/Oa_Ksau_x… youtube.com/live/Oa_Ksau_x…

Nick Shirley uncovers an adult day care in Flushing, Queens with 7,000 phantom members. Nick: “This public document says you have 7,899 members.” Employee: “No, we don’t have 7,000 members.” Nick: “So you’re overbilling then? You’re getting paid $1,600 per patient — that’s how you got $12.9 million in 2024.” Employee: “Please leave.” American taxpayer dollars at work.

My friend was in the courtroom today. She said there is no high-quality, zoomed-in footage showing anyone taking a shot. The video shown is the same distance as the footage of “Tyler” jumping off the roof that we've all seen. She has no idea why people are claiming otherwise. Maybe because they know the video isn’t going to be released publicly, so they’re misrepresenting what was actually shown in court?

@bringbacklogic_ @ZachCostello_ The video is not clear enough to see the persons face but there was zoomed in video showing the shooter get down, get in the prone position and fire the shot. Anyone who says otherwise looked away and missed it or is lying.

The evidence against Robinson was overwhelming and virtually uncontested by the defense. I know the conspiracy theories were a fun true crime hobby, but it’s time for everyone to come home. Reality awaits you. And, if you’re one of those who used these theories to applaud the torment of a widow, may God have mercy on you.

Statement on behalf of the Kirk Family: The conclusion of the preliminary hearing marks an important step forward in the pursuit of justice for Charlie. Our family is grateful for the prayers, support, and kindness that has been extended to us, especially through these unimaginably painful and emotionally demanding proceedings. As difficult as these last few days have been, it brings our family comfort to know that the world has witnessed the overwhelming evidence of what occurred to Charlie that day. Nothing will ever undo the loss of our beloved Charlie. As this case moves into its next phase, we pray that truth will continue to be heard through a process that is fair, transparent, and grounded in the facts.
