In this study, we have found a new role for estrogen related receptor gamma (ERRG) in both kidney and cilia development. With the help of our incredible collaborators, we have also shown that this function is conserved in zebrafish and mice. Please check it out!

Whenever someone doesn’t see the benefits of #zebrafish as a model organism, this is what I picture in my head

I bought my niece “Goodnight Lab”, a twist on the classic “Goodnight Moon”. One of the lines is: Goodnight to the professor, yelling “publish!” I was talking about a paper I want to publish. She immediately grabbed her book and shouted “publish”! Science is a family affair 😂
