@RachOZoe @Keir_Starmer We won’t get one because we don’t want to hear truth

Labour loses my vote if they don’t stop pfaffing with the leadership nonsense. There’s work to do and right now @Keir_Starmer seems to be the only one who gets that.

My opinion of Andy Burnham, having watched him over the years, is twofold:
a) He never thinks about the impact of any policy on women. We simply don’t enter the equation at all. When we speak up, we are an inconvenience to him so he brushes us aside as being of no importance.
b) His ambition far exceeds his ability. He will ALWAYS play to the gallery, even if that means flip-flopping later.
The man is an empty vessel.

I’m sorry, this is total bollocks. I have been looking after my river for a decade and you have done absolutely nothing to support me and the other hundreds of volunteers who give up their free time to do your job for you and to stop the river we love from dying.
This picture is the part of the Aldersbrook that we haven’t yet restored. Do you agree that allowing one of the ancient rivers of London to disappear beneath a layer of sewage, silt, rubbish & knotweed is a disgrace? If so, when can we expect EA teams down in the river to sort it out?

@MayorofLondon @TfL during this period of extremely hot weather, please allow Freedom Pass and Oyster 60+ holders to use their cards before 9am to help them avoid the worst of the heat.

Do you know something?
Try as hard as I might, I cannot get beyond a feeling of great animosity towards @AndyBurnhamGM
It is so obvious to me that he and his nasty little coterie have been planning this putsch for very many months, possibly more.
Think about it:-
1 The Labour seat made vacant for him within days of the local election results.
2 The fact that his campaign was so slick, and done so quickly.
3 The fact that so many Labour MP’s supported him and with obscene alacrity.
The @UKLabour membership rejected his bid for the leadership, twice. We voted for @Keir_Starmer for leader and PM - not him.
So, the conniving little weasel has done it via the back door, and seemingly without any challenge.
Bollocks to him, I say.
Soon, this terrible mistake will become glaringly obvious. He ain’t nearly good enough, you see, and not in Starmer’s league.

Keir, thank you for all our cooperation, your support, and the joint decisions that have helped make our Europe and our protection of life stronger.
The United Kingdom has been, is, and will remain among the world’s leaders. Here in Ukraine, we deeply value Britain, and every meeting and every conversation we have had has always been filled with real substance.
Thank you for always being in touch, always engaged, and always striving to do what is needed and what will truly help.
I wish the United Kingdom and all British people every success as well as realisation of your national goals. We have confidence in Britain.
Keir, you are always a welcome guest in Ukraine.

WHEN THE NOISE FADES
When the noise fades...
People will remember who took Labour from its worst defeat to government.
People will remember who restored Britain's standing in the world.
People will remember who stood by Ukraine when freedom was under attack.
People will remember who chose duty when easier choices beckoned.
The loudest voices often write the headlines.
Time writes the verdict.
And time may yet be kinder to Keir Starmer than many of his critics.
Thank you for your service, Prime Minister.

Today, Sir Keir Starmer steps down as Prime Minister, a decent man who gave everything to lead a country growing ever harder to govern. In turbulent times, his quiet integrity and determination stood out. Britain loses a leader of principle. Gratitude for the effort. History will be kinder. 🇬🇧
English

Keir has given huge service to our country and I want to thank him for his leadership and dedication during such a challenging period.
His decision marks the beginning of a transition and it is important that this process is conducted in an orderly and responsible way. I will put myself forward as part of this process.
The country expects stability, seriousness and a continued focus on the issues that matter most and that is what it will get.
As we move forward, our priority must be to work together to get the country back to where we all want it to be. People want to see progress on economic growth, cost of living, public services, housing and opportunities for the next generation. Political change should never distract from the responsibility to improve people's lives.
The Labour movement has always been at its strongest when it looks forward with confidence and purpose. This is what we will do from here and we will make sure this transition is a positive process of renewal for our party and our country.

@AndyBurnhamGM @DCBMEP Your entitlement is off the charts Chap.
If you’re confident that you could/should be PM, call a General Election, propose a manifesto, campaign on that because otherwise you’re just a usurper with no mandate to be PM.

@AndyBurnhamGM @feedthedrummer Keir has given huge service to our country, whilst @AndyBurnhamGM fucked off out of Westminster for an easy life, having been rejected twice by Labour members.
Fixed that for you

@AndyBurnhamGM This Labour Member leaves if I suspect for one moment you might become Leader of Labour/PM. Never will I support dishonest, lazy backstabbers who can’t do the hard work but want the glory.

I’ve known Keir since he was a lawyer. He was principled then, just as he is now, and throughout his career he has been driven by a deep sense of public service and duty to this country.
He transformed the Labour Party, rooted out antisemitism, restored trust and made our party electable again. He won a historic mandate to change Britain for the better and, most importantly, he delivered on that promise.
With Keir’s leadership, this Labour government brought stability back to our economy, cut NHS waiting lists, improved renters’ rights, began to fix the crisis we inherited in our courts and prisons, reduced small boat crossings, protected young people online, lifted half a million children out of poverty and restored Britain’s standing in the world. He put Britain back at the heart of Europe, stood firmly with Ukraine and rebuilt relationships with our allies.
Change promised, change fought for and change delivered. That is Keir Starmer’s legacy, and I am incredibly proud to have played my part in it.

@Keir_Starmer This makes me so angry. I will never vote for Burnham or the Labour party again and will be cancelling my party membership.
