The Road Warrior (1981) is such a wild leap from Mad Max. The first is a gritty revenge flick, and the sequel is full-blown post-apocalyptic chaos with mohawks, spikes, and dune buggies of death. One of the greatest glow-ups in action cinema.

@LVREChronicles Lets assume a price of $0.15/kWh which is on the high side for Vegas, assuming he was parked for 8 hours he cost you a grand total of somewhere between $2 to $2.50. So if $2 is a big deal to you go for it, make it a big deal.

There's a contractor at my house today and he's driving an EV. Dude parks at the end of my driveway and runs an extension cord from an external outlet on my house and he's been charging his car this whole time. Am I wrong that this is bothering me?

In the postgame, Cora called out Whitlock for not backing up this play. Sorry to those I called out, I guess. I really don't get why he would be bpositioned behind or on that side of home.

@Huckabee2023 @DanBFox1287 That's what I thought too. When Robby Refsnyder got that great deal from Seattle, the high pay was for his leadership. When the Red Sox signed IKF, I assumed that was the same type of deal. But he's invisible.

IKF has not played in a week. There's not anything he does better than Monasterio except make suboptimal contact. They are effectively wasting a roster spot, and I can't understand it

@jsbnmsr I didn't get past the first episode of Bones. Alias never really caught me, watched occasionally. Timeless was great. And Nikita is my favourite of these by a mile, especially the first season.

@Sudikoff Because of the time difference due to where I live, I watch most games on replay, and the tv being 2 seconds behind the radio was a problem last year too.

MLB TV used to perfectly sync the radio broadcast option with the TV broadcast. Now…not so much. Very annoying.

The Boston Red Sox are 2-7 and this is straight-up embarrassing. This isn’t “early season noise.” These games COUNT, and they always come back to haunt you in September. Alex Cora has been brutal. There is ZERO reason Trevor Story should be hitting 2nd — none. And honestly, he shouldn’t even be your everyday shortstop at this point. I’ve been saying this all offseason. This team is miserable to watch. Even when they score, it doesn’t feel sustainable. There’s no identity, no pressure, no consistency. You look at this roster and the only real names you can hang your hat on are Roman Anthony and Garrett Crochet — that’s it. If this was the Milwaukee Brewers, Minnesota Twins, Kansas City Royals, or Pittsburgh Pirates, you’d say “okay, scrappy team.” But this is the Red Sox. This is unacceptable. Craig Breslow went all-in on pitching like offense doesn’t matter — and guess what? The pitching hasn’t even been good. Bullpen? Bad. Rotation? Inconsistent. Holding leads? Nonexistent. You finally get a lead and can’t even put up a zero the next inning. That’s losing baseball. And the fact you had to burn a rookie for almost 3 innings because there’s no bullpen length? That’s roster construction failure. The San Diego Padres didn’t just beat you — they outclassed you in every aspect of the game. Top to bottom, this was a failure — players, front office, and especially the manager
