What is church according to Christianity? In the Bible, 1 Corinthians 12:27 states: "Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it." As in Ephesians 1:22–23: "And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way." Church is the body of Christ. Not a building or a place but the gathering of believers, the ekklesia. I read many posts about going to this church or that. Or saying that believing doesn't require going to church. They don't seem to grasp the meaning of church. We believers gather together as the representation of the body of Christ on Earth to show our faith and follow His path. We don't go for showing off, gossiping or having tea or coffee after the mass. Those are added perks. 🙂 So if your local church is distancing from God just gather somewhere with other believers and pray in the name of Christ. Don't be hard on people. We all have our flaws. Enjoy the Holy Week!

@MattWalshBlog Monopoly always leads to decline in quality of service. There are few airliners with massive clientele base. The entire system is rigged.

Flight delayed on tarmac. Missed our connection. Based on the other flights available, which were also delayed, and the fact that taking a flight tomorrow would require getting back into a security line stretching seemingly for miles, we decided to get a car and drive five hours to our destination. That’s how bad air travel is right now. Driving is faster. Air travel is awful in this country. People don’t realize just how much it sucks unless they have to do it a lot. It’s not just TSA. Flight delays. Air traffic control issues. Service is even worse than usual. Every airport is crowded and slow and worn down and dirty. Everyone brings their dogs. The term “service animal” doesn’t mean anything anymore. Air travel used to be luxurious. People used to wear suits. Working for an airline was prestigious. The employees took it seriously. It sucks now. It’s terrible. This is the kind of thing our leaders should be fixing. Because the most frustrating thing is that it is so eminently fixable. If only anyone bothered to try.
