You cannot:
Work full time, raise children, keep a spotless home, show up fully in your marriage, maintain friendships, stay fit, build wealth, read books, pursue hobbies, serve only home cooked meals, answer every email, and still make the 3:30 school pickup.
That standard was created to keep you exhausted and blaming yourself. Let it go.

Me 👋
Not that I don’t know how to cook. Infact each time I decide to cook anything, I’m also trying a new receipt.
But i just don’t like it cause it stresses me out. Lose appetite most times after cooking

Are there women who genuinely don’t like cooking , not that they don’t know how to they just don’t like to do it frequently?

I don’t know how to explain it but something is off about this scene.

@Celestvd @CynthiaOjukwu9 @Allure_scent I get you, honestly, but not everything is the government. And you are wrong- calling out individuals and companies is how you make them hear your grievances, not by pushing blame.
If an individual has blame, let them share in it as well.
English

@_TravelBae @CynthiaOjukwu9 @Allure_scent I get that, but that that cannot be solved by “calling out” individuals or companies. Production needs to be subsidized or paid off by government. Raw materials, Logistics, electricity, salary, etc are all paid with money, and affected by the economy. MJ can’t make that work.

Be honest, it’s not worth it.
She claims it’s a period kit for girls aged 9 years and above, but a teenage girl cannot afford it.
Do I need to read this book every time I buy pads? The book is not necessary.
Do I need the box?
Do I need the shredded paper?
Do I need the plant based wipes?
If the unnecessary items are removed, then it will be more affordable.

@Omodolapomayo Remember when I was in school, second year I think. I couldn’t afford a pad not even a tissue. Was so broke had to use my pants. Just double my pants with thight. Still it wasn’t helpful. Wouldn’t stay out long .
It’s well
English

Since this whole 25k period kit outburst has subsided, here’s my own little opinion (that nobody asked for btw).
In a country where there’s period poverty, where girls still struggle to buy pad, where girls still use tissue paper, where girls still use rags, where girls still use cotton wool as pads, we shouldn’t even be talking about a “25k period kit.”
Pad is a necessity and it is not something we should be forming classism with, talk about “if you can’t afford it don’t buy it,” “you are not the target audience,” “but it’s not one pad she’s selling for 25k na.”
Yes, it is not one pad she’s selling for 25k at least there are three pad packs in the kit but that still doesn’t make it reasonable.
PADS ARE NECESSITY FOR EVERY GIRLS.
What we should be pushing for is how to make this thing free for every girl, not forming classism with it.
Even if it cannot be FREE it should be the cheapest thing to get.
English

@_TravelBae @CynthiaOjukwu9 @Allure_scent That’s really not our problem. She could just be soft launching to introduce the pads before retailing them.
English

@Celestvd @CynthiaOjukwu9 @Allure_scent That’s the problem we are discussing. Pass are meant to be affordable if not free sef. We have a battle on ground with that and then someone entering the market is coming with a kit package and you said it’s for kids seeing their period for the first time.
Common. Do you see it?
English

@CynthiaOjukwu9 @_TravelBae @Allure_scent But long rich pad retails from 5k, always maxi is like 5 figures. And just for a single pad. If didn’t affect the price of mopled or virony.

@KaiUzama Most marketers strategist is
Launch and move straight to SALES.
English

Had a conversation sometime back about how some Nigerian businesses don’t think much of customer retention. The focus is always on how to maximize profit on this particular sale today, now, this minute. They’d rather make 300k in one day & never make it again, than 3k everyday for 1 year.
The average woman has her period monthly, from 3-6 days (some more) and can use 2-4 paid daily. You’re looking at 72-288 pads in a year from 1 customer alone. How did anyone think 25k was a good price point? Idc if there’s diamond dust in it.
It’s like you create businesses with one time purchase in mind. Sure, maybe there’re ppl who would actually spend 25k to get this over priced box, just for the hype, but will they repurchase ? You have the opportunity to sell a highly needed product at a time when people are actively searching for sanitary alternatives yet greed won’t let you set a reasonable price.
After hype purchases, what next ?

@Toriaveej @thebeautymarktr @AdesolaBlessin9 @Munalozy No, teach us. You seem like a Marketer whose sole strategy armour is vitality. We must go viral
English

@thebeautymarktr @_TravelBae @AdesolaBlessin9 @Munalozy As a content marketer, do you know the effect of first impression on product?
English

@Celestvd @CynthiaOjukwu9 @Allure_scent Then what happens when those buyers stop becoming repeated buyers
English

@CynthiaOjukwu9 @Allure_scent @_TravelBae It’s marketed for first time periods. Hence 1 buy. That aside, who is forcing you to buy what you don’t need a second time? Walk into the nearest store and buy pad.
English

@Allure_scent @_TravelBae You will create a Library, and stack the damn books there😂😂😂
English

@_TravelBae @AdesolaBlessin9 @Munalozy I agree
But I think that would be the eventual plan
The entire kit then individual products for repurchase
English

Let’s say you want to even make a profit. You can structure the business in a way that you make profit from the other leg of it. And if you insist on making profit from the brand itself, at least consider the realities of your TG and those who will aspire to buy them, because what happens when the supposed TG can’t be repeat buyers?
English

@_TravelBae @AdesolaBlessin9 @Munalozy Honestly. Pads should be free. The most she can do is to make it free but seek sponsorship. It would have been better. Produce and share to young girls. Supply the book to schools to share for free. That wipes and period pants is unnecessary
English

@_TravelBae @AdesolaBlessin9 @Munalozy She can sell the kit and sell the items individually. She can even bundle the items in 3s, sell individually and still sell the kit
English
