We collected data on past party affiliation of MPs and regional councillors of the Lega (1990-2025), to explore their variation over time and across regions. We show that the party is most institutionalized in the North, while the share of switchers remains high in the South.

In this article with @G_Piccolino, recently out on @RegFedSt, we study party institutionalization through the career patterns of elected representatives. We argue that a stable and loyal political class is key for party development and can be used to measure insitutionalization.
