If the identification of Matthew Vandyke is accurate, it’s a damning indictment of India’s border control & internal security system. A foreign national with a history of operating in conflict zones doesn’t just walk in....he gets clearance, moves across the country, and somehow reaches sensitive NE regions crawling with insurgents, terror networks, and hostile elements? This isn’t a lapse. This is systemic negligence. Either our screening mechanisms are embarrassingly weak, or our coordination between intelligence, immigration, and local authorities is broken beyond repair. For a country that talks big on national security, this level of access to vulnerable zones is unacceptable.
