We were sad to learn that our 2017/18 fan of the season, Ken Valder, passed away over the weekend. Ken was kind, generous, and a devoted Albion supporter. The thoughts of everyone at the club are with his family and friends at this difficult time.

@albionroar I was seriously unwell at that time. So was in the disabled area (Southwest Corner) with my late mum who rarely went to games. Family in the North Stand too. Hove Park Tavern before the game and then back to The Alex. What a day.

We will never apologise for looking to keep the Albion story alive. On this day, 28 years ago, thousands of fans from across the country joined us at the Goldstone for what became 'Fans United' Day. To those who joined us then, we offer our eternal thanks. It had some effect!
