I have a spare standing / general admission ticket for @deftones at Crystal Palace (London) this Sunday for sale as my SIL can’t make it. It’s an all day thing, Weezer are supporting (plus a bunch of other bands). Believe it’s sold out. Hmu if interested.

@L1nko64 I think it is really good. Solid 7/10. Better than most 10/10s. A game for the sake of just being a game.

@andihero Aye this is true, but some of the non-gameplay aspects turned me off fairly quickly like the dialogue and itemization. It's clearly a console-focused streamlined action-rpg which isn't my thing, I think it's a 'fine' game but some of the reaction I'm seeing is pretty crazy

Avowed feels like when you used to get those spin-offs of PC games on console

@L1nko64 Aye but you're a PC man, you're probably mega turnt over tactical shooters and Kingdom Come. You need to be a season 7/10 console gentleman like me to really get it to click.

@andihero i honestly found it pretty boring in the 4/5 hours I played of it, I get why people like it but it's just not for me at all beyond the odd bull charge off a mountain

@vessel_deserted Arsenal fans though, they're a different breed. I'm sure the Man U fans I grew up with were just as bad but at least you didn't have social media to amplify their deluded takes every day.

As much as I am a man who loves to be right about everything, it'd be nice to be completely proven wrong here and that there's no way he owns the domain or brand or whatever, because if he does it is pretty grim stuff all round. Anyway, I'm mainly on Bluesky now so go find me.

@Toadsanime The maddest part is, I've always said, if the lads and lasses over there just binned it all off, started a new place and explained why, I think almost everyone would back it and respect the decision.

@andihero I've never taken much notice of them or given them much thought - was aware he had been there, but didn't realise he still literally owned it tbh! Haven't really often linked news articles to them, but will make sure I absolutely don't unless they're able to fully detach

I've only recently realised his company name is credited as the owner still - my understanding before was he had fully left and detached - so unless it's confirmed otherwise, I won't be occasionally linking to God is a Geek articles anymore. 👍
