@andymitchell
I like taking back time. I created @getbreef to make Gmail as fast as Twitter. (Also notched 15 years FT indie on @activeinbox)

@pbteja1998 Oh that's me! It very rarely happens but for me, Ragaas' value prop was like a bolt of lightning. Doing RAG right is hard, and I love that you're making it easy.

Someone sent us a super detailed feedback and suggestions about RAGaaS.dev 🤯
They goes into depth on how could I potentially position it, grow it, and so much more.
This is super valuable to us right now!

We spent the weekend adding a full guide on data privacy & ownership considerations w/ ChatGPT for @theaiexchange subscribers
Response has been: "this is exactly what I needed" "Can I share this with my whole team" "INCREDIBLE"

@mattburgess1 Hey Matt - I had the same problem so I've been tinkering on a Gmail addon to spend 5 mins infinite scrolling through the best newsletters I didn't open. Lmk if you'd like to try it? (It's extremely privacy aware btw)

@TomAnthonySEO @YodasMyDad @dconstruct Back when “Web 2.0” was just being crowned - 2005.dconstruct.org . Coincidentally also the year I discovered I needed a Mac to fit in.
English

@andymitchell @YodasMyDad @dconstruct It was a great night- and a great conference! Can’t believe it was so long ago!
English

@jspector Also rereading the email after you’ve sent it. Because that’s a good use of time 🤦🏻
English

@JensLennartsson Yes! Even better with a peer group at similar stage.

So good I’m RTing so I never lose it 😂

Writing landing pages is hard. @jackbutcher and @harrydry spent 90 minutes reviewing 15 landing pages from the 10x Creator Course. I distilled their insights from 15,000 words to 1,500. Audit their masterclass in marketing and branding:

@LachlanKirkwood Excuse me sir, do you have any copies of 'Being Lachlan Kirkwood' for sale?

❤️ HighSignals even more now @petecodes
👉 Actually feel like I have startup friends (only took 15 yrs)
👉 Feel a pleasant pressure to hit a weekly milestone. Better focus, really.
👉 A roast led to a big landing page leap no amount of arguing with myself could do.
English

I cannot recommend this more highly - I joined on a leap of faith and my brain is happily whirring from the breadth of experience, and the intimacy of being able to talk freely. Smashing job Pete.

Doing our second chat with other revenue-verified founders in an hour ⏳ A great opportunity to chat with other founders and to get advice. Check out the High Signal website if you want to join - it's $6/m at the moment for the next person that joins highsignal.io

Request for MicroAcquire to host "Fliptreats"... beautiful retreats where we get together to buy a startup, intensely improve it, in the mountains, tax deductibly, then flip it at the end of the week. @agazdecki @almostobsolete

@Kyle_Byers @JanelSGM @JensLennartsson @petecodes @LachlanKirkwood @tdinh_me @jot @cogentgene Thanks Kyle - I actually made a note that you speaking style was really crisp and engaging (and @LachlanKirkwood ). I learnt a lot and rejigged Breef's direction.
Everyone: check @petecodes HighSignal.io 😀
English

@andymitchell @JanelSGM @JensLennartsson @petecodes @LachlanKirkwood @tdinh_me @jot @cogentgene Great thread, Andy. And good chatting yesterday. Welcome to Twitter!
English

@cogentgene Def not died off, but also no longer growing as it did (and growth cures all!).
The Streak founder, rightly imo, talks about there being infinite niches over email - because everyone uses it.
E.g. @Kamphey doing @trypigeon
English

@cogentgene In fact Gmail was also in its growth phase. There were a lot of tailwinds.
English

@cogentgene SEO and word of mouth were helping a lot. Also ActiveInbox had been written up in things like LifeHacker, where "GTD" was the ultimate siren call, a passphrase to open all doors (in that niche).
English

@cogentgene Oh actually that too - but more Getting Things Done become less sexy. For a while it was the Creator Economy / Indie Hacker / AI / 10X of its time, and ActiveInbox was cunningly named GTDGmail (before being sued - I knew nothing at 23!).
English

Finally, on my little podium, you made me feel so welcome to Twitter this week @JanelSGM, @JensLennartsson, @petecodes, @LachlanKirkwood, @tdinh_me , @Kyle_Byers, @jot and @cogentgene .
Let me namecheck you to get your attention.
Now that’s gratitude😛 (But truly, thank you)
English

That's my little story.
