@newyorkcityfc Get a winger who doesn’t need 17 chances to score. Should’ve had 3 at least tonight

NYCFC end the season in fifth thanks to Messi just too slow to start this game, but turned it on late and still a year more successful than expected NEW BALLGAME NOW 😤 IN CHARLOTTE NEXT WEEK

What an embarrassing product the Yankees have put on the field this weekend against their biggest rival.

What is this list? Reno is just one of Bamford’s buddies from Yale? Cahill has never held an FBS coaching position and is another guy with deep Yale ties also only has 2 seasons of HC experience. He’s 9-12 for crying out loud. The ‘Cuse QB coach? What are we doing?

Here we are, somehow, in game 6 of the NLCS The season felt like it ended after game 4, but it’s what we’ve done all year, battle back from the dead Manaea and Sevy starting games 6 and 7 on the hill… A full rested bullpen and healthy lineup…. Freaking Shock The World

@HPbasketball Come on, it’s garbage. How is throwing yourself over a defender on the ground for 3 FT’s fun or interesting? Just had a nice like 4 minute free-flowing stretch before that

@HPbasketball We sure Ingram is gonna shoot better with Dort having him in the Dorture Chamber?

as a general statement, this is what everyone does after every playoff game and it's the wrong way to look at it, IMO. they might shoot better and the defense is worse. there's a million different ways

@BillyReinhardt I feel like his little hook shot has been a nice development this season, he’s not only a dunk/lob guy. Just in general I wouldn’t make any kind of decision favoring Simmons, he’s 27 with back issues and not a long term piece

@anthonym0307 He’s had 40+ games without Simmons to “try stuff offensively” — haven’t seen any returns that warrant that getting priority. His game remains paint oriented — playing with Simmons actually encourages him to take more jumpers.

@BillyReinhardt I guess yeah there’s no harm in continuing to play them together this year, but it just feels like an inevitable issue that’ll arise. I also just want Clax to be able to try stuff offensively and not be hampered by spacing issues with Simmons, turning him into just a dunker

Why would you split them up? The Nets have no better alternative. If you’re building a team from scratch, you wouldn’t choose to build with two non-shooters, but the Nets lack a better alternative, evidenced by their dreadful record this season whenever Simmons doesn’t play. Simmons & Claxton have played 5 games together this year. Negative against CLE 2x, BOS — the two best teams in the East. Positive against DAL and SA. It deserves more time.

@BillyReinhardt This is assuming you’re responding to Lowe’s quotes about the FT stuff and splitting up Clax-Ben mins

@BillyReinhardt Even being better with Simmons they’re still a bad team or at best a play-in team if you want to be kind. If you’re gonna split up Ben-Clax minutes, wouldn’t the move be to bench Ben? Why would you favor a guy who’ll be gone in a year and a half? Clax is a long term piece

@APOOCH Showed up and *bailed. No one forced him to ask out after signing an extension. He deserves to get booed mercifully tonight just like Harden did and Kyrie will be next week

Kevin Durant returns to Brooklyn tonight with buzz about whether he deserves a tribute video. He’s one of the greatest to ever wear the uniform. Chose Brooklyn. Brought fans to a base that needed it. He showed up and balled. Don’t feel the failures/drama are his fault.

If any team values Cam Johnson at the value of a first round pick or greater, the Nets would be so smart to jump on it. They won’t though. They see him as a core player when in reality he should fight to close every game just as every non-Mikal Bridges player does.

@BillyReinhardt Guy’s been lost for months. Making one sub during that whole run and it being a 1 possession offense/defense sub is malpractice

Final: Heat 96, Nets 95 Brooklyn led by four with under a minute left in overtime and can't pull it out. That's a brutal loss after Miami was a complete no-show in the first half. Things continue to spiral for Nets.
