@sethharpesq Those doing national security journalism should have secure contact details, such as a Signal ID or Protonmail address publicly accessible.

@sethharpesq In any event, the indictment of Courtney Williams speaks to the importance of national security journalists and their sources encrypting and anonymizing their communications. Doing so can deny the government access to text messages and call records.

@FBIPortland The FBI won't tell applicants the truth about the pseudoscientific polygraph "test" to which they will be subjected. We will. See our pinned post for details.

What was that “alibi”? A video of a dog with her voice allegedly in the background? Yep, failed a polygraph and that’s the “alibi” that exonerated her. Nothing to see here, folks.
Ken Silva@JD_Cashless

@thevivafrei The simplest explanation is they did care, but wound up clearing Shauni anyway because she had an alibi

Join the CIA as a Polygraph Examiner and contribute directly to U.S. national security by assessing the credibility of individuals that support the Agency's mission. The job is demanding but rewarding for those willing to take on the challenge. Learn more at cia.gov/careers.

@stray_toasters @jacktronprime @dbongino Both the CIA and FBI perform periodic and random polygraph screening. But they do so against the advice of the National Research Council, which found the procedure to be completely invalid.

Tom, You’re a sitting US Representative, please try to preserve a sliver of dignity. There is an ongoing criminal trial in this case and the individual in this case is a US citizen entitled to due process. Your relentless bloviating and absurd public commentary on an ongoing, very serious, criminal matter, which you know little to nothing about (by choice), is beneath the office you hold. It’s bizarre that you continue to claim to be a supporter of liberty and the Constitution, while acting like a Soviet era communist.
Thomas Massie@RepThomasMassie

Former Capitol Hill Police Officer / current CIA employee Kerkhoff was a person of interest & failed a lie detector test, before the famous Blaze article was published. Looks like defamation suits FBI DD Bongino told me he would personally finance against reporters are a bust.

@CIA Before you think about becoming a polygraph operator (for the CIA or any other agency), be aware that polygraphy is a pseudoscientific fraud. Is this how you want to spend your life? Read more at: antipolygraph.org

@45LVNancy @AGPamBondi Polygraph "testing" is bogus and has no evidentiary value. An arrest warrant cannot be issued on the strength of a failed polygraph "test."

@FXRegan @TheJohnNantz Right. Presumably, the polygraph report was provided to the defense in discovery. It would include the polygraph operator's scoring of the charts and summary of what transpired in the polygraph suite. But it seems unlikely that the report will be made public.

I've taken five polygraphs, four by FBI, I know the drill. We need to see the entire report. I've heard but not seen the final conclusion was inconclusive. The comments in the filing are the lawyer's. The comment that she rehearsed an answer is very suspect. She was there for one reason. You don't have to guess the question the night before and rehearse a one word answer.

Great points debunking the Kerkhoff polygraph narrative from someone who actually knows what they’re talking about.
F.X. Regan@FXRegan

Yesterday I published Part I of a two-part series about the J5/J6 Pipe Bomber. Two hours after I pushed send, word came down here on X from a @theblaze contributing writer that a former Capitol police officer, who in November 2025 The Blaze identified as the pipe bomber, allegedly failed an FBI polygraph. This was before the arrest of Brian Cole, Jr. I'll have a lot more to say about this in Part II (which was substantially complete before yesterday,) but two quick points here: 1. Despite two writers for The Blaze covering this story for six months, the failed polygraph story is not on The Blaze's website. Weird. 2. Recall we've been led to believe the entire scenario involving the Capitol police officer is part of a "fedsurrection." A wide ranging conspiracy by the FBI and deep state actors to cause havoc at the J6 rally and once and for all be done with Trump. After all, that's why she was shuffled off (and/or rewarded) with a job at CIA after J6. So they say. If this is remotely true, why would the FBI polygraph her? These same posts from yesterday claim she was surveilled by the FBI in November, interviewed, and her boyfriend, also a Capitol police officer, was interviewed. If the FBI was in on it, why do any of this and give her a polygraph they knew she would fail, that might come out later? More to come. fxregan.substack.com/p/a-comprehens…

@okie_bored @C_3C_3 If you fail a polygraph and it can't be resolved, you lose your clearance. Career ended at the FBI or CIA. This is according to FBI agents.

Woah… Remember Shauni Kerkhoff? She was the first alleged Jan 6th Pipe Bomber. Shauni was a Capitol Hill Police Officer and is now apparently a member of an Intelligence Agency. Apparently she failed a FBI polygraph test about the pipe bombs. How accurate are polygraphs?
