ʿUthmān b. Saʿīd al-Dārimī al-Shāfiʿī (d. 280) said:
“One day, I went to Yaḥyā b. Yaḥyā to narrate to him the views of the Jahmīyya in order to extract a refutation against them from him, and in attendance of his gathering that day was: al-Ḥusayn b. ʿĪsā al-Bisṭāmī, Aḥmad b. Ḥarīsh al-Qāḍī, Muḥammad b. Rafiʿ, and Abū Qudāma al-Sarakhsī - as far as I can recount - and other than them from the Mashāykh.
So he rebuked me with anger, and said: ‘remain silent!’ and the Mashāykh in his gathering disapproved of my action deeming it too huge of a thing for me to mention their statements, and as an expression of censure against them.
So how about someone who narrates from them out of religiosity?
Then Yaḥyā said to me: ‘The Qurʾān is the speech of Allāh, whoever doubts it, or claims that it is created, he is a disbeliever.’”

@Abdulilah_UK Just as this does not apply to misguided scholars or to oppressive, foul-mouthed elders, it also does not apply to rulers who promote nudity and support disbelievers against Muslims.

Let's respond to this enemy of Allāh and Awliyā’.
1. Disconnected. From whom Al-Ḥākim narrates that?
2. Imām Al-A’immah Ibn Khuzaymah and his close companion, Imām Ad-Dārimī, were the ones who exiled Ibn Karrām from Sijistān then from Naysābūr.

Al Hakim narrates: When Ibn Khuzayma came to Nishapur, he stayed with Ibn Karram. Ibn Karram used to provide for him (i.e., spend on him), and Ibn Khuzayma used to speak well of him. Let that sink in.

S͟hayk͟h al-Islām Ibn Taymiyyah said :
“A person should have hours in which he privately converses with his Lord, withdraws with himself, and holds himself to account.
In doing so, his action is better than his mixing with people and benefiting them.
For this reason, a person’s seclusion at night with his Lord is better than his gathering with people.”

@oman_hakimi You would’ve to be silent about a lot of issues if you want to avoid criticism of rulers which would make you an inconsistent person
Especially in Muslim majority countries with political parties or elections, you can’t have a discussion if you aren’t open to criticism of rulers

Imam ʿAbdulQādir al-Jīlāni al-Wahhābi (d. 561) said:
“Woe to you! Do you not feel ashamed to ask from others instead of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, while He is closer to you than anyone else?…
…O you who associate the creation [with Allah], turning your heart toward them—turn away from them! They possess neither harm nor benefit, neither giving nor withholding. Do not claim the Tawḥīd of Allah while Shirk clings to your heart, for you will have nothing of it.”

Sadly Muslims have to take some responsibility for this aswell. When people have made it something so light on the tongue, of course others will catch on.
And even if not lying, still shows a lack of respect towards The One you are swearing by.
