I signed this letter calling on British and Irish govs to take action on Israel’s continued violations of international law. Specifically: 1) the issuing of tenders to build a new illegal settlement in Jerusalem, and 2) the Israeli gov’s ban on international NGOs in Palestine.

Day 30 of hunger strikes in UK prisons: Demanding shutdown of Elbit Systems, deproscription and immediate bail. The largest since 1981, ignored by government and media. All the while people here can’t afford bills, food or rent …yet are forced to subsidise Israeli arms dealers.

Just sickeningly inhumane. People are forced to take dangerous small boat journeys to flee danger because for the vast majority there is no other way to claim asylum in the UK. The ONLY way to prevent horrific channel deaths is to open safe routes and @YvetteCooperMP knows this
