My landlord complained that property taxes went up $1,800 this year. Raised my rent $2,400 to cover it. Passed on $600 more than it cost him and called it a necessary adjustment. Now I'm paying his tax bill plus his profit margin on his tax bill. I don't understand this fucking system anymore.

@skumWgmi I don't really get the debate from either side - we have analytics and could simply look at the numbers to see if landlord is being sleezy or not. I don't think they'd show us the books, because unfortunately many (not all) landlords I think are sleezy. A lot of BS waved as fact
