Coaching malpractice by the other guy…..I’ll pretend I’m shocked
Tyler Donohue@TDsTake
Prior to PSU coaching change, Yvan Kemajou averaged 10 snaps/game, did not play vs Oregon or UCLA. He saw 26 snaps in the first game with Terry Smith as interim coach. That was his exact snap average through the final seven contests, concluding with 41 in a Pinstripe Bowl start.

@AustinRBechtold I really don’t think Pittsburgh would support an NBA franchise

Should be for Seattle and Pittsburgh
Shams Charania@ShamsCharania
Breaking: The NBA's Board of Governors has approved a vote for the league to explore bids and applicants for expansion teams exclusively in Las Vegas and Seattle, sources tell ESPN. A bidding process is expected to generate offers in the $7-10 billion range for each team.

.@GovPritzker, I saw your post honoring lives lost in Minnesota—standing publicly, naming Alex Pretti and Renee Good, and laying flowers in their memory.
But where was that same compassion on January 19, 2025?
That is the day my 20-year-old daughter, Katie Abraham, was killed here in Illinois. She was innocent. She did not knowingly put herself in the middle of an ongoing law enforcement situation. She was not making a dangerous choice.
She was simply living her life—and it was taken from her.
You have never said her name. You have never come to where she died. You have never acknowledged her publicly.
And beyond that—you have never even responded to me.
I sent you a simple, non-political letter. Not for attention. Not for headlines. Just a father asking for clarity, for answers, and for understanding of the state’s position.
You never replied.
And now, in the wake of another tragedy here in Chicago, your public display of compassion elsewhere—while remaining silent about victims in your own state—feels deeply disconnected from the reality families like mine are living every day.
Instead, you continue to defend sanctuary policies that create the conditions where preventable tragedies like hers can happen.
This is not about politics. It’s about leadership and accountability.
When you choose to publicly mourn some victims while remaining silent about others—especially those lost under policies you support—it sends a message.
Whether intentional or not, it tells families like mine that our loss does not matter the same way.
So I am asking you directly:
Where is your compassion for my daughter? Where is your acknowledgment of victims here in Illinois? And when will you take responsibility for the consequences of the policies you defend?
Say her name: Katie Abraham.
Stand where she died. Show the people of Illinois that every life matters.
Governor JB Pritzker@GovPritzker
Standing with Minnesotans tonight and paying my respects to Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

@KJ2Burner_ @SteelersWin109 We gave up pennies to move up. And it was 100% the right pick at the time

@TraiDay79 Get slope. You won’t regret it. Some of the hunting brands like Leupold and Vortex have golf specific rangefinders and offer lifetime warranties with their products, no questions asked. That’s where I would start
English

For my golfers out there, what are your thoughts on rangefinders? Like them? Don’t like them? Does brand matter? Are the cheap ones on Amazon as effective as the $300 Bushnells? What do the expensive ones give you that the cheap ones don’t? They all seem to take slope into account these days so that’s not a gamechanger for me.

@Matthew_Quirin @StephTuittRules MiLB moved Skenes from 2 to 1 in the final update before the draft and said “Honestly, there isn’t much separating the two Tigers and we probably could have them share the top spot”
Keith Law kept Crews #1. And those that put Skenes 1 all had Crews 2
English

@StephTuittRules @Matthew_Quirin A lot of respected baseball people had the same opinion leading up to the draft. It wasn’t exactly a hot take
English

@Matthew_Quirin He isn't the only one. You need to call them all out.
English

@CardsFla15156 @mlbtraderumors No thanks. He was pretty happy not to go to Pittsburgh. We don’t want him
English

@Jeffreycooter @BR_OpenIce He makes direct contact with the head. Which is pretty obviously his intention. NHL should’ve kicked him out years ago
English

@BobHugginsDrunk @yinzzzerr Retool hasn’t failed. It’s literally working right now. They are in line to make the playoffs. And even if it hasn’t they’ve still improved the farm and have a ton of cap space and picks. It’s a good spot to be in
English

@basicbluespsu7 @yinzzzerr Oh I love Murashov. He should be on the roster instead of Skinner. Sadly a goalie prospect won’t change much. It’s a massive step but yeah man, a rebuild/tank is needed. Retool failed. It happens. Nailing the Guentzel trade and trading 67 and 65 could’ve made the retool work
English

@GMas315 @ThatGuyRocked Damn you’re right. It started playing and by the time I clicked on it the next play was already going. Kept waiting for it to show up

@BobHugginsDrunk @yinzzzerr Forgetting a big one between the pipes. Even if all the above is true, moving from 30th to 20th in rankings is a massive step forward for the franchise. Again, loaded with picks it should only continue to improve. Kindel should be in that group as well
English

@basicbluespsu7 @yinzzzerr lol you’ll see. Their prospects are bad. 30th a few season ago 20th, at the beginning of the season. Koivunen and Rutger suck. Zonnon and Howe are bottom 6 guys. Brunicke is a 2nd pair guy at best. Horcoff is a winger who doesn’t player defense or carry play.
English

@BobHugginsDrunk @yinzzzerr Their prospects do not stink. They have legitimate talent that will be here over the next year or so. Plus a shit ton of picks that can be flipped for guy that can help now
English

@yinzzzerr What? Brunicke’s ceiling is a 2nd pair defenseman. Penguins will bottom out in 1-2 years anyway. Penguins prospects suck. Need to rebuild in the summer and tank next year and the following years
English

@BaddestBearJew Agree with everything here (including 5th year option on Brod). But I don’t move up that far to get him. You have the assets but plenty of holes to fill. Should also be picking up 2027 picks to move up next year for a QB
English

I know it’s not the flashiest pick and I fully understand the many people that wouldn’t like it, but in my opinion Olaivavega Ioane is the correct pick. You trade up and select him solidifying this offensive line for the next decade.
LT: Broderick Jones/Dylan Cook/rookie (or veteran; and yes … I am picking up Broderick Jones’ 5th year option. I was very encouraged with how he was progressing prior to his injury. A new coaching staff, I believe, can develop him and allow for him to reach his fullest potential. There’s still a lot of talent there).
LG: Olaivavega Ioane.
C: Zach Frazier.
RG: Mason McCormick.
RT: Troy Fautanu.
English

@SteelersWin109 We need boring right now. Build the trenches now. Pick up some additional 2027 picks and be prepared to move up for a QB next year
