My name is Ben Schierer. I’m a dad, husband, and former mayor of Fergus Falls. Today, I’m launching my campaign to be your next Minnesota State Auditor. Even in chaotic overwhelming times, we must work towards building things up, not tearing them down. Now let’s get to work.

Our coalition gets bigger and bigger every day! I am so proud to announce these endorsements from across Minnesota. Having leaders from across the state means so much to me, and I can't wait to work with them as State Auditor.

I am so excited to announce that Congresswoman Ilhan Omar has endorsed our campaign! She's an incredible fighter for the people she represents, and it is a huge honor to have her support.

I am so proud to have earned the endorsement of the @MYDFL! They’re critical to both the present and future of our Party and of Minnesota, and it means so much to have their support.

Her plan not only addresses the problem at the state level, but also brings along local leaders and governments, and gives them the tools they need to be a part of the solution.

"Innovative, effective, and accountable." That's exactly what our state government needs to be for the people of MN, and Senator Klobuchar is the leader to do it! Taking on fraud is going to take all of us across the state and at all levels of government, both state and local.

This campaign is about building those relationships and working together to make that a reality.

This weekend, I joined DFLers at the conventions in congressional districts 1, 4, and 8, which represent our Party’s history. We have to get back to the coalitions that make our Party strong - Democratic, Farmer, and of course, Labor!

Accountability and performance audits can improve our systems and our innovation, ensuring your tax dollars are spent responsibly.

When it comes to fraud, we need to be smart and efficient, not reactive and redundant. We need leadership that builds consensus and provides solutions, not finger-pointing and political posturing.

People are showing up and having the important conversations about what Minnesota’s future can be, and we’re only going to get it done if we do it together!

Great to see so many friends and supporters across the state this weekend, especially at the CD3 and CD6 conventions and my home convention in CD7! It was a full house, and we haven’t seen this level of excitement and commitment in a long time.

This campaign is about showing up everywhere and listening to everyone. I was in Redwood Falls and Slayton this weekend having fantastic conversations with people ready to work together - no matter where they come from - to make Minnesota better.

The overturn of the mining ban in the BWCA watershed is a big setback, but the fight's not over and we can still protect this incredible natural resource. Let's work together and get it done.

Big thanks to all of our neighbors for showing up to help us build a better Party and a better future for Minnesota.

It was a big day for the Schierers at our local county convention! My son, daughter, and I were all elected as delegates to the state convention. They sure grow up fast, but I’m so proud of them for getting involved and having a say in who our leaders are.
