@ManifestHistory A priest in my parish at mass over a year ago claimed that no one has to defend the gospels. They defend themselves. All four are mostly in agreement with some shifted details here and there, but if you want to know Jesus Christ & what he teaches, read the gospels.

I’ve finally decided to read the entire bible. So far, I’ve read Genesis and Exodus. I’m obviously really interested in reading the Gospels and New Testament. I’m debating skipping ahead to the Gospels. What do you recommend I do: Read the bible from front to back or skip ahead and read the Gospels (or entire New Testament) and then go back to the Old Testament.

Think about what Washington Republicans are actually asking you to believe: that there are noncitizens so committed to voting illegally that they’d risk deportation, prosecution, and everything we’ve seen ICE do, just to cast a ballot in our elections. There is no documented crisis of noncitizens voting. It is already a federal crime, and it always has been.
