The tone of your post on its own shows exactly where you stand in the scheme of things; both as a pretend media station and also an unqualified journalist. That offer is public knowledge. If you existed in real journalism spaces you would know this because it’s common knowledge. Having said that, at no point have I said I have issues with ED. I don’t. I have contact with him. My sources are strongest within the regime not outside of it. You have created that argument in your own head. I turned it down because I prefer journalism to politics. My life is fine as it is. If anything you envy what I have achieved in strict journalism spaces. Something you can’t do even if you tried. Within a short space of time in the Uk I was co-producing documentaries on the BBC and one won an award. I have gone on to have bylines in the oldest and biggest newspapers the Mirror, Star and Express. I now shoot in British and European premier competitions. I have professional relationships with the biggest names in the industry. When I started Dug Up it ballooned to over 30,000 subs in months. While your own YT totters. I remember you got upset when we had your video that used our material taken down for copy infringement. Probably why you use this childish language. My life is great as is mate. But I worked for it. Envy it but don’t let the hate stifle you. You can achieve the same things. And mind your own contradictions. You say I am ED 💯 but then say he didn’t offer me the job? Which is which man?

I HAVE A ASK: How does borehole tax improve water supply to residents? What is the link between taxing a hole I have bored alone because of gasping municipal tapes, and my having uninterrupted flow of water the morning after? More so when the levying institution has nothing to do with water body-building or water supply???

The whole world watches wondering if Iran will unleash a nuclear holocaust Jeremiah 49:34-39 tells us this will not happen, God said He will break the bow(Military power) of Iran verse 39 tells us this is in the latter days, We might witness this sooner.

@Jamwanda2 Trump is a curse to the world. He is an unhinged mad man. The man is literally going to war with Iran to force them to adopt a nuclear deal he himself tore for no reason at all. He went and abducted Maduro on trumped up charges. Now he is suggesting international bullying.

There is considerable debate around Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3. I have deliberately not read it. I thought that by doing so, I would avoid the temptation to comment. However, many engaging in the discussion have tagged me — apparently because of the opinion I expressed on 26 October 2025. If the summaries circulating are accurate, I struggle to see how the proposed changes could be effected without triggering a referendum under Section 328 of the Constitution. We debated Section 328 extensively last year. What we did not debate is Section 158, which governs the timing of General Elections. It requires that General Elections be held not more than 30 days before the expiry of the five-year period specified in Section 143. While Section 158 may not itself be a “term-limiting provision” as contemplated in Section 328, it certainly provides substantial constitutional grounds for challenging any extension of tenure. As for Parliament, Section 143 is unequivocally term-limiting. Absent some genuine constitutional innovation, it is difficult to see how it could be amended without a referendum. Call me naïve — I will plead guilty. My assumption in 2025 was that Government might rely on the COVID-19 pandemic and introduce a narrowly tailored provision along these lines: “Section 158A: In computing the tenure of Parliament or the term of office of the President during any term immediately following the tenure during which a national pandemic lasting more than two years occurs, a period of two years shall be deducted and excluded from such computation.” That approach would at least have confined the legal question to whether such an insertion constituted an amendment to a term-limiting provision within the meaning of Section 328. From what I gather, however, the path reportedly taken appears to require a referendum.

Is Mnangagwa a more fitting student of this homily than Trump who has expressed his wish to run for third term, TO YOUR UTTER EDITORIAL SILENCE????
TheNewsHawks@NewsHawksLive

#AMessageToPresidentEDMnangagwa This is what Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa really needs to hear, not what his self-serving close political allies and hangers-on are telling him for self-interest - that he is the only one who can run the country and needs to stay on to complete his Vision 2030. That is misleading and unhelpful. It's an authoritarian mindset, not a democratic perspective on how a country is run. Development visions, which are long-term, strategic goals aimed at creating a desired future for a nation, can't be tied down to one person and be completed in one or two terms; they are not an event, but a process which needs to be continued beyond a leader and his limited tenure. In a landmark 2015 speech at the African Union headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, former United President Barack Obama strongly urged African leaders to respect term limits and step down, declaring that "nobody should be president for life". He argued that changing rules to stay in power risks instability and hinders democratic progress. Key points from Obama's address on African term limits: Respect for constitutions: Obama stated that leaders who change rules to stay in office, citing examples like Burundi, risk instability and conflict. "President for Life" Criticism: He criticised leaders who refuse to step aside, noting his confusion as to why they cling to power. Personal Example: He highlighted that despite enjoying his job and believing he could win a third term, he would abide by the US constitution's two-term limit, stating, "the law's the law". Call to Action: He urged the AU to uphold democratic principles and encouraged leaders to focus on building their nations rather than maintaining personal power. Obama's remarks were aimed at promoting democratic, peaceful transfers of power across the continent, emphasising that true leadership involves allowing new leaders to emerge.

ZANU PF is not seeking to amend the constitution; it is attempting to introduce an entirely new constitution outside people participation and a referendum; a step it plainly has no right to take. The reasons are these: 1. A constitution is enacted by the people as a whole, not by a single political party or faction. 2. Parliament’s law‑making power is confined to legislating for the peace, order, and good governance of the country. Replacing the constitution exceeds that mandate and undermines this constitutional principle. 3. ZANU PF is governing on a contested mandate following the disputed 2023 elections. Even then, it failed to garner a two thirds majority. It therefore lacks the legitimate popular authority to impose a new constitution unilaterally. In fact, the minister under whose hand this affront is being engineered lost his party’s internal elections. He has no moral authority to talk about the will of the people, let alone constitutionally legislate in its purported defence. 4. Fundamental constitutional change requires broad, inclusive national consensus. Attempting to substitute a constitution through partisan processes would violate the principles of legitimacy and popular sovereignty. 5. ZANU PF is not even acting on the authority of its highest decision making body, the Congress. Conference is not Congress.

When I said that Zimbabwe needs a united movement against ZANUPF, and that such a movement must never be anchored on one person as the opposition but on a strategic collective of leaders, you insulted me. When I warned that the danger of centring the entire opposition on one individual is that if that person is incompetent, compromised, or bought, the entire struggle collapses with them, you insulted me again. Today, everything I cautioned you about has come to pass, exactly as I said it would. The opposition has been weakened, not because the people are weak, but because it was structurally designed around personalities instead of institutions, around loyalty instead of strategy, around emotion instead of systems. I hope there is a lesson in this. National struggles are not sustained by hero worship, they are sustained by strong, thinking, accountable leadership collectives that cannot be captured, silenced, or bought.

The controversial Constitution of Zimbabwe Amendment Bill (No. 3), 2026, which seeks to extend President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s term by an extra two years to 2030, has now been officially tabled in Parliament after being approved last week Tuesday by Zimbabwe’s Cabinet. The Bill seeks to extend Mnangagwa’s term of office, remove the direct election of the President by citizens and transfer that power to parliamentarians, extend the presidential term to seven years from the current five-year term, among other sweeping changes. It also seeks to remove constitutional restrictions that bar traditional leaders from being partisan. If the law passes, traditional chiefs will be able to openly support ZANUPF without constitutional sanction or risk of being taken to court, fundamentally altering the political neutrality that traditional leaders are currently required to uphold. The Bill also proposes far-reaching institutional changes that restructure how Zimbabwe will be governed. They include transferring control of voter registration and the voters’ roll from the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission to the Registrar-General, expanding the Senate through additional presidential appointees, creating a new Electoral Delimitation Commission, and altering judicial appointment processes by removing interviews of prospective judges. It will also remove the constitutional mandate of the defence forces by changing their obligation to uphold the Constitution, and abolish key independent commissions such as the Zimbabwe Gender Commission and the National Peace and Reconciliation Commission, with some of their functions reassigned elsewhere. Amendment Bill No. 3 is being pushed by ZANUPF to manage its internal succession politics, particularly to block Vice President General Constantino Chiwenga, while also entrenching its long-term hold on power by removing citizens’ direct right to elect a president. It is designed to ensure that it could take a generation or more for any opposition leader to ascend to the presidency, by transferring presidential election powers from the electorate to Parliament. The Bill is widely expected to sail through Parliament without difficulty amid allegations that some opposition leaders and Members of Parliament have been offered financial inducements to support it, and assurances that the presidential term extension will equally prolong their own parliamentary tenure, meaning there will be no election in 2028. Other opposition figures are also alleged to have been promised executive appointments should Amendment Bill No. 3 pass. No it doesn’t culminate in this way if the Constitution is complied with. If Mnangagwa and the current crop of MPs, ie incumbents, seek to benefit from any changes, then it must culminate in a referendum. Section 328 makes that crystal clear. Don’t mislead the public.
