@SamRo Very real. I don't really get it but I witnessed other middle aged Korean men yesterday complaining of sleepless nights, tormented anguish, etc. No joke. I wanted to laugh my head off, but its too serious so had to hold back.

It's no wonder Korea has such high rates of smoking, drinking, personal debt, mental health problems, chronic illness, anger issues ... all fueling 20% one-day swings in the stock market ... while inspiring the most depressing dramas and the darkest movies about revenge.

@jaycaspiankang yes, PLAYING sports is 10x better, i speak from experience. My men's league baseball team won our 1st game after like 25 tries the other week. Incredible feeling. Watching doesn't come close.

개 황당한 쓰레드 글 읽음 🤣 내 얘기는 슬프고도 끔찍하구도 황당한 얘기. 정확한 날짜는 당연히 몰라. 한 30년전쯤 토론토 다운타운 Financial district, 변호사들 몰려있는 고층 빌딩들 어디쯤에서 실제 일어난 일이야. 한 남자 변호사가 (백인)동료 변호사들과 즐겁게 얘기하면서, 토론토 고층빌딩 유리는 절대 안깨지게 만들어졌다면서 시범을 보이셨대. 멀리 복도 뒤쪽에서 뛰어가면서 온힘으로 유리창에 부딪쳐본거지. 근데 그말이 무색하게 그 튼튼해야할 강화유리가 완전 박살나면서 그분은 몇십층에서 떨어져서 돌아가셨어. ㅠㅠ 아직도 충격스러 ㅠㅠ

I hate when New Yorkers call Spanish speaking Latinos SPANISH. Spanish is a language or an adjective to describe people from Spain - it should not be used as a shorthand to describe Puerto Ricans, Mexicans, Dominicans, etc. The use of the word is just wrong & y’all sound dumb af.
