I think Ravens fans need to ask themselves how much better is JSN than Zay Flowers.
They’re close in terms of production which leads me to believe Flowers may exceed the numbers JSN got. I wouldn’t be shocked at all.

If the Ravens also end up making another splash move in FA/Trade, I’ll be VERY concerned about an extension if it is a big cap hit this year.
If Lamar signs an extension this offseason, his cap hit goes up. They have to have money set aside for it.

I hate to say it, but I’m concerned about Lamar’s contract extension. The Ravens are in a really bad spot salary cap wise after 2027 if Lamar does not sign an extension. EDC and Bisciotti made it very clear they wanted this done, here is the quote from that press conference.

The #Ravens are not a perfect team personnel wise. But we have to remember this coaching staff is totally different.
A big component will be how they get MORE out of their players than the previous staff. I fully expect the coaching to level up & maximize players’ strengths.

To me, DJ and Zay are 2 much alike. Not the kind of wr we need. Now Drake London or Nico Collins, I can get down with that. Brian Thomas Jr absolutely!! Moore wouldn't have moved the needle.

@mub158783 @devpanchwagh Idk if the big thing the tape was showing was a lack of open receivers. But I agree generally we need another player at that position I just don’t know if we need one that expensive and who is almost garunteed that he will make noise when he doesn’t get targets.

@cj_appleton @devpanchwagh Would disagree there because we only have one above average pass catcher on the team atm. People rightfully discussed the failures of guard play last year but there were so many drives that failed as much because no one outside of Zay could get open
