Today, I received the author's copy of my #dotnetmaui book😀 I wrote 5 years on the book's predecessor about #xamarinforms, which was the last published book on XF. So I’m super happy, that the ⁦@dotnet_maui⁩ book just took me a few months and that it’s one of the first 😁

@jfversluis I gave it a try back in May. Even with all the manual setup back then, I absolutely loved it!

I ended up buying a Surface Laptop Studio 2, too @BFreakout. It arrived today. So far performance is amazing… but I didn’t do any real work yet 😂

Question for all #dotnet + #dotnetmaui developers: Is there a Windows laptop that can handle real-world .NET MAUI development? My Surface Book 3 (32 GB, top CPU) struggles — as soon as I start working seriously, it overheats, throttles the CPU, and gets unbearably slow and noisy.

@csharpfritz Lot’s of great stuff. We’re really looking forward to the @Syncfusion MAUI controls and the Blazor improvements. I’m curious if Blazor 9 makes EntraID Authentication easier in Interactive Auto mode. This really caused us some headaches in .NET 8.

My 5 year anniversary crystal is here!💎 It might be a silly thing to you, but I'm actually pretty happy with it. Physical proof that I've been at Microsoft for 5 years already. This is also my longest stint at 1 employer, seems things are going pretty well here😄 On to 10!

I can't tell if this is something I should be pursuing but I have been playing around with the ability to interrogate local databases running in a #dotnetmaui @dotnet_maui application. Currently loads Sqlite-net and LiteDB sources and lets you query them. Would anyone use it?
