@kristijan_kralj PDF is the bottleneck? What the heck are you doing?

PDF is the main bottleneck of modern .NET development: 1. ASP .NET Core can handle thousands of requests per second, but exporting to PDF still means installing 3 NuGet packages, reading 5 GitHub issues, and hoping fonts don't explode in production. 2. We have async/await, background jobs, cloud autoscaling, and distributed systems, yet the moment the business says "Can we just get a small PDF with a table and a logo?" the whole sprint is gone. 3. We can model complex domains, enforce invariants, and scale systems to millions of users, but aligning a table header in a PDF still feels like dark magic. .NET devs, know your enemies.

What’s with the use of the plural “offsides”?? It’s singular. A player is offside. It’s the offside rule. Oh no, was he offside? Unless you’re talking about multiple offsides in a match, it’s always singular.

@davidfowl Agreed - it’s too early in the evolution of LLM integration to have a “best practice”. MCP? Skills? CLI? REST? In my mind, code defensively with abstractions so you can adapt

Pretty sure we’re going to remove agents from being embedded in apps eventually. I find myself coming back to exposing the right APIs for agents to use vs embedding assistants in all the places (which is transitional).

@ashleymcnamara I feel this.. the ability to keep up and push the LLM to do more becomes a mental block

technology has advanced to the point where my biggest blocker is simply… me.
