@sterenas I haven't done work with ReportViewer yet... this is focused on WebForms using the standard tools and controls that ship with it.

@csharpfritz Jeff, does it migrate Reportviewer also? Been looking for a solution to this to modernize a Winforms app that heavily uses it.

@Aaronontheweb were you able to get this working with the desktop Ollama install, or had to go directly to the service and update it?

@csharpfritz are you able to pass in parsing templates in Ollama? I just fixed this issue with Qwen3.6 today using llama.cpp (engine that sits underneath Ollama.) Had to tell it to use the jinja templates: github.com/netclaw-dev/ne…

Has anyone got good recommendations for Ollama hosted models that work well with GitHub Copilot? Half of the models that I've tried either stop with a message that they don't allow tool interactions and the other half return an XML document that looks like its trying to invoke a tool and then stops

I’m saving my “fun money” so I can pick up the @lenovo Yogabook i9 with dual screens.. I’ve hit some goofy issues with my other non-work laptops and it’s time to plan a replacement Any idea what the current generation of that device is?

@csharpfritz @Lenovo I think it's better to get a portable external screen. This dual screen yoga doesn't have an integrated keyboard, right? Seems like too much of a compromise.

@James_M_South THAT! That bit right there about 'its easy to add custom controls to' Folks underestimate how easy and flexible WinForms is. I feel like we're in a time that would be amazing to host a 'look how cool WinForms can be' series of videos or website with demos like these

@csharpfritz Thanks! It's just showcased in WinForms as it's really easy for me to add custom controls to. It's actually all rendered by a new WebGPU backend I'm adding to ImageSharp Drawing which could be used in of the frameworks

The #dotnet community really is dead, isn't it? I share something absolutely mindblowingly awesome and its tumbleweeds. An equivalent in JavaScript garners thousands of shares and likes.
