Hey friends, if you go to @planethollywood hotel in Las Vegas, make sure you use all of the bathroom fixtures when you first arrive. They was they can help you if anything is out of order I discovered some filthy and broken features and can’t get a repair or restitution on my last night

@csharpfritz The Caching PR for Blazor SSR just landed

I added performance benchmarks to my BlazorWebFormsComponents to show what a performance improvement it is to migrate from WebForms to Blazor Initial reports show a 2x - 4x performance improvement before any tuning.. JUST doing the migration on some simple demo apps More research is coming

the overindexing on CLIs is kind of insane to me it's building a primitive that's not portable, properly discoverable, has no good approval flow DCR / CIMD to APIs would go so much further but CLI is just the current hype thing

@quorralyne I’m remote first by choice as well. 13 years so far… I find that a regular support system of folks that aren’t coworkers go a long way to helping with this

I'm remote first by choice. But I have to admit that getting together in person every so often really helps when you are building something new.

@davidpine7 I love this idea... and because of the extensive tests that I have built to validate migration, I can add performance to the mix as well I'll get that added to a sprint. Thanks for the idea!

@csharpfritz You should run benchmarks, I’m curious about performance differences between framework specific bits back then compared to their modern alternatives.

I’m setting some records with migration of Web Forms projects I’ve got old demos from 2008 and 204 that area migrating to Blazor in less than a minute and getting some tidying up over the next 5-10 minutes.. and match pixel perfectly GitHub.com/fritzandfriend…
