He and the medical staff have that game circled on the calendar and that’s why the NFL schedulers made it 10/18

@coreymanske @AndyHermanNFL @PCK3RS Yeah but that went out window with pup to start the season at that point they said 9 months no football so if it’s 9 no football he MIGHT-practice week 3 with a 3 week ramp up period from there it’s gonna be how he feels and he has to be 100% I really believe it’ll be a week 8

@Tpars_boii @AndyHermanNFL @PCK3RS You may be right, but my math is accurate. Surgery like that has a 9 month rehab period. He had the procedure 12/29 which means his target is 9/29. If he practices for 2 weeks he MIGHT be ready to rock for the Bears game 10/11 or Cowboys game 10/18 (he ain’t missing that one).

And I know they've struck out for public funding from Illinois...so far.
But hard to believe this is over.
