I have a very speculative option Call I may make tomorrow or Friday that will at least have a few weeks of life to play out, rather than just a few days.

It IS a Biotech and it already has (more than) Interest from a large Pharma.

The French start-up led by Marc de Garidel is giving the British pharma giant $AZN exclusive access to its data until 23 March to help it decide on its takeover bid. If it fails to make a bid by that date, Abivax will be free to negotiate with other potential buyers.
An AstraZeneca takeover would also be helped by the fact that the British laboratory is headed by Pascal Soriot, who has both French and Australian nationality. The former veterinarian, who previously worked for Sanofi and Roche, is credited with transforming AstraZeneca into a global champion of innovation.
Soriot also happens to know Marc de Garidel well. In February 2023, he bought CinCor Pharma, a US biotech specialising in treatments for hypertension, from the current head of Abivax.

@Andre_AGTC @Maximus_Holla everyone understands the difference between fluctuation in price versus an actual realized loss but being down from ATHs on paper still feels like a loss and technically represents lost potential gains, that's the point being made here

Is 145 to 109 a loss or just a smaller gain?
Real loss is when you buy a stock for a binary and it fails, but it's not typically often

I’m currently down about $750K from ATH.
Mainly:
• $320K from $ABVX (when it went down from $150)
• $240K from $QXO (when it went down from $27.61 )
Rest here and there!
Those are still my two biggest positions and I’m holding both.
Could’ve been worse but I cut some speculative names when mentioned cleaning, put on some hedges, and a few other bios held up well and even went higher!
When markets get choppy with macro & geopolitical noise, the goal isn’t to force trades every day.
The goal is to protect capital and control downside.
Survival first. Opportunity comes later.

Just hit another $1 million month to date! The market’s been strong, and I’ve been working to capitalize on the momentum. It wasn’t about one name , my biggest winner was $96K, while the biggest loser month to date was $80k (thanks to $OSCR giving back a bit from last month’s gains) while 2nd biggest loser was 18k! Also, I want to say a big thank you for helping me cross 50K followers , truly humbled and grateful. This is a strong, respectable high-grade intercept & this is meaningful thickness too (7.75m).
In junior exploration: Anything consistently above ~5 g/t Au is generally viewed as "high-grade" for gold
World Gold Council and industry sources often cite 5–10+ g/t as high-quality for underground/vein deposits!

5/15 - unusual block trades with $90 strikes. Looks like Institutional money. Post earnings, pre data
6/18 - crowded trade at 110/120 calls. Violent gap down if bad data

@_Biotech_iQ @Gantosj Volt has raised ~$24MM in equity over the past couple months with an equal amount in outstanding warrants. I believe they've said a 1000 tpa system would cost around $20MM so they should be all set to at least get the first unit built without additional raises.
