@w__h_ This is absolutely game-changing for people like me. This is such a frustrating reality, being able to be inspired by such amazing work worldwide. But realizing over and over that most clients in my country aren't willing to purchase 90% of fonts out there. Thank you!

@TiroTypeworks @klimtypefoundry Absolutely true. We are totally open to other approaches and adjusting our methods. May I ask how you approach this wicked problem?

@klimtypefoundry I am far from convinced that company size is a relevant metric for determining the value of font licenses. Staffing levels reflect particular business models, and in some industries staffing goes up and down a lot over time.

Hot damn, counter-forms.com has the double-whammy of:
1. a single company-size license and
2. the World Bank’s Purchasing Power Parity index!
Literally been considering this for Klim too. Bloody good stuff.

@Paul_Hanslow @klimtypefoundry We have considered much more complex, potentially accurate approaches but we begin to prioritise edge-cases over the majority of use-cases so, for now, for us, it is the lesser of a multitude of *evils*.

@Paul_Hanslow @klimtypefoundry Yes, lots to think through! I guess we’re balancing a lot of complex cases with a simple metric. It will inevitably be imperfect but perhaps it can be considered a gesture towards a more fair approach.
