Looking back at the Toronto Polkadot Builder Party 🏗️
36 hours at the @gbcollege Casa Loma campus in November that were about more than just shipping code. With support from our sponsors, and special appreciation to @scytaledigital for adding an extra prize pool for Toronto builders, the weekend became about new relationships, late-night debugging, first wallets created, and teams forming in real time.
What really stood out in Toronto was the focus on building real products, thinking beyond demos to users, workflows, and what it takes to ship.

The biggest social platform in the world just posted this. The official Instagram account, with almost 700 million followers, dropped this moment on their feed and that alone shows the scale of what just happened.
Millions of people around the world were glued to the final. Players, celebrities and the whole ecosystem kept sharing these moments and by mid year we were already above 10 billion impressions. HACKATHON UPDATE: I am extremely excited and motivated to have WON a Certified Polkadot Tinkerer prize alongside @jordyarms. 🤘 This is totally unexpected, but Jordy seriously helped me out as I was vibe coding this in-between managing the catering and IT support of the event.
