@editingemily This struck a cord for me… I think the worst part is that most of the things we do to address burnout either only address the symptoms or don’t work at all. Vacation is nice, unless the bills are getting paid and the work is meaningful none of it matters.

This is one of the many, many reasons I left AWS without another gig. I was completely empty and utterly burnt out.
