@RobKuhn_ Min pre. That they def v 2.5x at this stage vs your stack tightens their pf range quite a bit so I discount 93s and some A3o. A bit greedy for A3/A9/Qs3s when u have AA/AK/AQ/KK. Guess their pure value 33/99/Ks3s. Bluffs - Xs3s, KdXd, QdXd, JTdd? Not sure. Too weak so fold.

@JimDugg52713617 @RobKuhn_ MW, equities are dilluted. When u bet (grow the pot), u want to use hands that mirror high equity continues in the 3 ranges. KhQx or KxQh means less resistance (blocking FDs, TP, OPs) and retain potshare. If called, hand can improve. If face XR, can call sometimes and improve.

@dalionmann @RobKuhn_ x'ing KQo with a heart makes more sense, if you get raised betting with a heart you have prob blundered because you must fold

@JimDugg52713617 @RobKuhn_ Asymmetry = unequal. Symmetric = equal. Since most of the stacks at the table are deeper, the btns stack won't be the one defining ranges. 3-betting denies equity realization which their stacks (vs each other) gain from playing postflop/complex trees.

@dalionmann @RobKuhn_ what does stack asymmetry mean ? everyone has at least 30bb starting hand and KQo mostly calls at this stack debt

If players at your poker table are telling you that you play badly, they probably suck themselves.
If players at your table are telling you how good you are and inviting you to their home game…
That’s when you should actually be concerned about your game.

This is what GOOD poker feels like at a table full of 🐟🐠🐡 A player opens to 2.5bb. Three players call. You look down at A♠️J❤️ on the button. Good hand. But it plays terribly 5-ways. So you squeeze to 12bb. Back to the original raiser… He shoves 60bb. You fold. And instantly the table erupts. "It was obvious he had AK. What did you think was gonna happen?" "We could’ve just seen a flop for 2.5bb." "This guy always does this shit." "Why wouldn’t you want to see a cheap flop?" Now look around the table. On average, maybe 2 of these players will win long-term. And they’re probably not the ones giving you advice. The reality of good poker: When the optimal play doesn't work out, it will often make you look like the idiot to those who don't get it. Sometimes the table thinks you’re overplaying your hand. Sometimes they think you’re impatient and unaware. But good poker isn’t about looking smart. It’s about making the highest EV decision over and over again. Study the game. Talk strategy with people who actually work on their game. And trust the process. Even when the table thinks you’re the fish. 🐟
