Btw what happens is drivers see that autopilot is about to cause a crash and disengage it to try to stop the crash and it’s too late. Then tesla gets to say that autopilot wasn’t engaged

@IraGilligan The part that pisses me off is when I do a "pre check in" online where I sign a whole bunch of shit, have to take a picture and upload my insurance card and ID, and confirm all my information and then when I get to the office I have to sign paper copies and show them my stuff.

Does anyone else get asked to sign things at the doctor's office that aren't true? This is the second time. J is getting allergy shots, and the nurse says "I need you to sign this." I read it, and it says "I confirm we are leaving the premises despite being advised against doing so." I say "but we aren't leaving. You just told me we should wait here for 20 minutes, and we are."
At the pediatrician: "we need you to sign this Good Faith Estimate. "
Me: "I don't see the Estimate."
Receptionist: "That is the Good Faith Estimate"
Me: "... there is no number. If I sign this, you can charge whatever you want and I have to pay it. That seems contradictory to the purpose of GFE"
Receptionist, now annoyed because how dare I read: "do what you want but they won't treat her if you don't sign and you'll pay a cancelation fee"
How is this legal?

I was specifically responding to the meme claiming no attacks were prevented. Under the right circumstances private security might be an option but most likely only with rules and regulations which end up being very similar to federally operated TSA.
Bottom line is, private security “like they had before” didn’t stop (or deter) 9-11, so why would it stop a future attack? I’m all for smaller government though and open to hearing alternatives.

Obviously this administration has already destroyed the coalition that won Trump the popular vote and every swing state in 2024, but just imagine (and I don’t think this will happen) that they put up zero deep state arrests, covered up the Epstein scandal and launched a war for Israel against Iran, AND then prosecuted Tucker Carlson for trying to get Trump to keep his campaign promises.
