Y'all fail to realize that it was because Fundamental analysis was flawed that Technical Analysis gained ground. Almost no US futures trader traded technically till the mid 80s. Fundamental analysis like technicals is still subjective. Same data but different bias. Okay the Strait of Hormuz is open. Do you know if the market has priced it in? Big banks can even go against the logical direction for days to take out herd liquidity. Also, there are cases where fundamentals do not even move the market especially near the end of a trend. If fundamentals, or I dare say, a sound grasp of fundamentals were the holy grail, every CNBC host would be a millionaire.
