Earlier today, both Senate President Ferguson and Speaker Jones received bomb threats at their homes. Thankfully, these threats were deemed non-credible. The Senate President and Speaker and their families are safe – and Dawn and I are grateful to the Baltimore Police Department and Maryland State Troopers for their quick response. Our administration takes threats like these seriously. I have said it before and will say it again: Violence of any type — including rhetoric and threats — will not be tolerated.
