MS can be devastating to a family....my daughter was diagnosed in 2017. She eventually lost her business from mobility issues and was then diagnosed with ALS in 2024. She passed on Nov 15 of this year at 45 years old, leaving behind her husband and 9 year old son who has a kidney disease, a sister and of course me, her mother. Her father passed from pancreatic cancer in 2023....it's not been a good 3 to 4 years for us. I thank Fernando for putting a spotlight on these terrible diseases that effect not just the patient but the whole family who become the support and care givers for these unfortunate victims to these diseases. Bless him and his family for raising such an incredible human.

Breaking News: To appease the American people while Congress is on another 16 day vacation, Congress is willing to add a provision into a rescission package that would allow for the federal government, meaning us taxpayers, to pay for the ID people need to register to vote. What that would do is create another fraudulent program that will be used to pay for illegal drivers licenses but it does nothing to pass the actual Save Act. It's just a money line.

In any other profession, a track record of repeated failures like this would mean immediate termination. Yet in politics, especially among the old guard, these “good ol’ boy” networks keep failing upward. The party has a history of running weak candidates, neglecting a strong off-year ground game, and prioritizing insiders over results. Florida Republicans are particularly fed up with Gruters — I’ve heard consistent negative feedback from people on the ground here. Now his wife, Sydney Gruters, is jumping into a congressional race, which only adds to the perception of nepotism and clubby politics. It’s time to break this cycle. The Republican Party can’t keep operating like a private golf club. We need fresh, proven fighters at the top — people like Scott Pressler or a sharp voice like Laura Loomer — who actually deliver wins through grassroots energy and real organizing. I liked Michael Whatley and thought he was doing a solid job, but he moved on quickly, leaving things in hands that many Floridians simply don’t trust. Enough is enough. Republicans should focus on building a real machine that wins elections, not protecting insiders after disaster after disaster.
