@vedang @cerebras Apart from speed, what was the quality like? Also, why are they abandoning B2C? That’s the feeling or their service is suffering? Thanks

It feels like @cerebras has abandoned its B2C plans altogether. I guess the partnership with OpenAI is working out well for them. Maybe its time to drop their Code subscription, but that speed is so addictive! :( @cerebras: please just communicate clearly with us, we're paying customers and deserve some respect. Let us know if you've stopped caring, so that we can stop our super hard-won subscriptions and move on in life.

@theo @MichaelArnaldi Didn't Anthropic just reveal, in their blog post about Mythos, that they found 27 year old vuln in OpenBSD?

What happens when every single piece of software we rely on can be pwn’d in a for loop with a few hundred dollars of compute? I don’t think you guys are scared enough tbh.

I guess this is a new take on open source
clem 🤗@ClementDelangue

We keep saying we want open-source frontier agents. Fine. Then let’s build the dataset. @badlogicgames, creator of Pi, just shared some of his agent traces used to build Pi on @huggingface. I’m now sharing some of mine too, exporting them from @hermes, @opencode, and Claude via @tracesdotcom, and I’ll keep going. Why this matters: one of the biggest bottlenecks for open-source agent models is the data. And all of us are generating that data every day through our conversations with agents. If enough builders share even a slice of their traces publicly, we can create the largest crowdsourced open dataset for agents. Time to put your tokens where your mouth is and give a chance for open source to win!

i'm about to put the most embarassing data on the internet. hope i don't get pwned. you can do so too! updated pi-share-hf, share your coding agent sessions with the world, savely (fingers crossed, read the README.md in full) github.com/badlogic/pi-sh…

Apple dev program signup as a company. They want that "professional" look. A few minutes in LLMs and you can generate all of it. Why? Because I had an intentionally spartan looking website, based on which they rejected me. Will revert, as soon as approved.

@badlogicgames Thanks for sharing this as it makes it easier that I didn't have to sell my house to pay for the ticket to attend your talk :) Will you be attending some other events whilst in London?

chat, how do we feel about this for my AI Engineer London keynote? (still can't believe anyone would make me a keynoter).

Love @whimsical for sketching things and remember thinking that it's a shame that it'll become irrelevant in this age of LLMs. But little did I know that they've been working on their own MCP that allows you to export your diagrams as Mermaid markup. Very nice! Thank you

I just left my desk It was not an easy decision. The past 12 hours were an absolute blast - I've been in many trenches in my life and can say this was by far one of the most intense warzones. I love clanking. Especially being in the trenches with my clankers, working on problems that I will probably abandon next week. But the current environment wasn't serving my growth. And that's a really hard thing to admit - I've always felt most productive at my desk. One thing I'll say: don't stay somewhere just because of the big monitor. If you're unhappy, and you know you can't feel comfortable 100x where you are - it's the right call to leave. What's next? Go on the couch and lay sideways with my phone in hand. Then fire up the Litter app and just keep clanking from there.

@nicopreme Thanks for creating this. Just wanted to try it, only to stumble upon the same issue as described in the repo's very first issue. tl;dr: pi install npm:pi-side-chat (doesn't work) git clone github.com/nicobailon/pi-… ~/.pi/agent/extensions/pi-side-chat (loads)

Whipped up a side chat extension for Pi. Pop open a chat overlay while the main agent keeps working uninterrupted. It forks the conversation so the side agent already knows what you're working on or you can start a blank convo. Can toggle focus between the main agent and the side chat without closing either. pi install npm:pi-side-chat github.com/nicobailon/pi-…
Kevin Lacker@lacker

I wish it was easier to talk to a coding agent while it works. Often I just want to ask questions about what it's doing, in order to understand better. I don't want to "steer" or "interrupt". Give me a separate read-only view that has access to the thoughts of the "main thread".

Getting AI slop via email: okay. Getting AI slop from people I had personal relationships with for years via email: man that hurts. Stop doing this! Please stop. I want to read your typos and bad English over this.

@badlogicgames OK, how about in the README? I saw that teachers feature white font on white background, where they hide sure fail instructions for students who rely on LLMs too much.

@dotemacs that would require the clankers to actually read CONTRIBUTING.md. they do not.

New idea for issue triage, specifically to kill any issue reports that have clearly not read github.com/badlogic/pi-mo… 1. Put a magic word in CONTRIBUTING.md 2. if none of the issue templates were used, auto-close 2. if issue does not include magic word, auto-close
