Perhaps the most scandalous and underreported aspect of the Talarico story is that his rise to national prominence was aided by the "Republican" leadership of the Texas House. Talarico helped elect Dustin Burrows as Speaker of the House in 2025. And, years after Talarico pushed legislation to FORCE PUBLIC SCHOOLS TO TEACH DEI and HIRE DEI OFFICERS... Burrows rewarded Talarico by appointing him to FOUR committees/sub-committees (more than many House Republicans get put on), and... Burrows put Talarico in House leadership by giving him TWO VICE CHAIRMANSHIPS... Including making Talarico VICE-CHAIR of the powerful subcommittee on ACADEMIC & CAREER-ORIENTED EDUCATION. These betrayals gave Talarico a platform that helped lead him to the Democrat nomination for the U.S. Senate. Austin Republicans need to wake up, and start fighting Democrats... not empowering them.

This is just disgraceful. We are going to re-elect the Texas last traitor @GregAbbott_TX who is responsible for Texas becoming the fastest growing state for new Mosques, with a 70% increase under his leadership.

Bluntly, you have endorsed people that makes no sense to us conservatives. Greg Abbott, Dan Patrick, Dustin Burrows, and various other Texas RINOs? Really? Further, you endorse Lindsey Graham. You have selected three of the most non-performing Attorneys General in history in your two terms and continue to allow the most recent to accomplish nothing that you promised us in your campaign. We are conservatives, not Democrats. We are not monolithic and will follow you over a cliff. We support you when you do correct things but that support is conditional. John Cornyn has not been a friend to you or Texans. We see Ken Paxton as a proven conservative warrior who will fight our mutual enemies in the Senate. Yes, our common enemies who won't pass the SAFE Act or allow you recess appointments. I already know who you'll endorse in the Texas Republican Senate runoff.
