@_swanson I really try to avoid the metaprogramming shortcut here. It makes the references to the associations much harder to grep for. Here's how I would DRY it up

@existentialmutt You can also put multiple forms somewhere else in the DOM and then connect inputs and buttons via the form attribute. I’ve used this “portal” approach before and it worked like a charm. No JS needed, just regular HTML features

Stimulus and javascript APIs are awesome enough that I should be able to make a div that minics form behavior. But if there’s something out there that already does this please let me know!

You see, my nifty #hotwire based component has its own forms, and it breaks when embedded inside an enclosing form because you can’t nest forms in HTML.

Git Tip: Running `git checkout -` changes to the previously accessed branch just like `cd -` changes to the previous directory. You can use it with other commands too such as `git rebase -` to rebase off of the previous branch.
