Two (cynic) possibilities: (1) Someone gave up Maduro in exchange for his/her own immunity or (2) Maduro negotiated a way out because he’s more scared of his own people than of the US

To have regime change in Venezuela we would have to see an actor not associated with the regime take control of (what’s left of) the state. That has not happened.

Cabello, Rodriguez or Padrino could claim to rule the country.

This was a helluvaway to wake up @PoPville. On the 5300 block of Kansas Ave NW someone smashed our car’s window and stole the air bag. Second time in one month. (Our car is not a Tesla, so whoever did this will never be caught by @DCPoliceDept)
