DeFi Has a Communication Problem As a Storybrand in the DeFi space, this is something I think about constantly. DeFi is powerful, but it often speaks in a language that is too complex, too technical, or too full of jargon. This creates a real barrier — especially when it comes to institutional adoption. True adoption doesn’t happen when just one person “gets it.” It happens when the entire team — from analysts to decision-makers — feels confident and aligned. That confidence comes from honest conversations about risks, clear explanations of how things actually work, and transparent public communication. This point was well made in a recent DefiLlama interview with the founder of TechWave PR. It resonated deeply with me. My role as a DeFi Storyteller and Explorer is simple: I break down complex ideas into clear, relatable explanations. I focus on translating DeFi concepts in ways that build understanding and trust — not just for individuals, but for teams and organizations looking to participate meaningfully. Because at the end of the day, the future of DeFi will not only be decided by great technology. It will also be shaped by how well we communicate its real value and risks. Clear communication is infrastructure too. What are your thoughts? Do you also believe better storytelling and clearer explanations could accelerate institutional adoption in DeFi?
