@Sophia358969123 @pjmssea Bei der uber Arena konnte man nach dem Kauf auf der Webseite zumindest nachschauen, wo die Plätze im Saal sind. So überfordert wie der Ticketshop war, hätte manuelle Sitzplatzwahl aber glaube ich eh nicht funktioniert 😅

@ClaudiohneAudi Meine Mama musste selbst als Kind aber auch von 6 Leuten festgehalten werden, wenn eine Nadel im Spiel war, dass sie das Trauma nicht bei uns wiederholen wollte. Irgendwie hat ihre (vermutlich vorgespielte) Tiefenentspannung bei uns die Angst vor Spritzen ziemlich weggenommen 🥲

@ClaudiohneAudi Meine Mutter hat sich damals immer gleichzeitig mit uns impfen und ich glaube auch Blut abnehmen lassen. Sie war immer zuerst dran und hat erklärt, was gerade bei ihr passiert und wie man sich entspannen soll, damit es nicht so weh tut. Hat uns gezeigt, dass es harmlos ist :)

Erstes mal Gamescom als Aussteller und nicht nochmal. - Keine richtige Werbung für Aussteller oder die Halle. - Adressen Leaks. - Mitarbeiter die einen nicht mehr zum Abbauen durchlassen und man 5km mit schwerem Gepäck unterwegs sein muss - Man wird eingesperrt und droht mit Polizei? - Unfreundlicher Umgang trotz Ausweise - 50% der Besucher waren absolut dreist. - Es wurden Stände zerstört. - Kein direkter Ansprechpartner. Viele Aussteller sind mit Minus oder Null von der Messe gegangen und die Stimmung war bescheiden. Am Freitag gehe ich im Stream nochmal intensiver auf alles ein. Ich brauch Urlaub.

@OfficialRafe_ @NayamiiChan Früher wurde schon massiv viel geklaut, auch nachts am IAB. Das würde ich schon fast zum Punkt "Stand zerstört" rechnen. Mittlerweile zahlt halt jeder drauf für extra Security. Für kleine Artists ist das aber sicher schwer vom Budget, bzw sollte eigentlich gar nicht nötig sein :(

@martingommel Ist ja auch nicht so als wären Kinder, die anderen sowas antun, später im Berufsleben großartig anders drauf. Würde man in der Schule härter gegen Mobbing vorgehen und tatsächlich Konsequenzen ziehen, gäbs am Arbeitsplatz sicher auch weniger Mobbing.

9/ Mit dieser Einstellung könnten wir alle sozialen Berufe mit Kindern und Jugendlichen streichen. Gewalt unter Kindern? Ist halt so. Kaputte, traurige Kinder? Ist halt so.

@starvingvampyr @SODA0VERDOSE As an alternative to that there are also textile refresher sprays you can use. They contain disinfectants so on top of smelling good they also kill bacteria in your clothes. Here's an example of a German version but I'm sure you can find something similar wherever you live:

I'm grateful that it's so accessible, but my gyn back then def didn't do a good job on the consultation part. My pill didn't even stop my period, idk why I took it 😅

@boxcollection @_celia_bedelia_ Different country, in Germany you can just go to the gynecologist and easily get it. And when I was a teen that actually happened a lot (~15y ago). For bad skin or nicer hair or other bs, they just prescribed you the pill. Didn't matter if you had a boyfriend or not xD

@_celia_bedelia_ If doctors are pushing the pill on every girl hitting puberty, shouldn’t it be easier to get? Why then do girls have to go to Planned Parenthood to get help getting birth control?

@SPCJLLY @_celia_bedelia_ I experienced the same thing and nearly every woman I know who went to the gynecologist as a teen got it prescribed or at least offered. Trouble with your skin? Get the pill. Want nicer hair or whatever bs? Get the pill. No info on side effects whatsoever. That was ~15 years ago.

@lazerbian @icarusphoenix @mandyfromwv Honestly, even with a doctor writing a prescription there's often not enough information given on side effects/risks and they don't take the time for a proper consultation either. Somehow that seems to be a universal problem, no matter where we are from :')

@fl3sch @icarusphoenix @mandyfromwv Not just teens. Young women get a boyfriend and simply go for the pill without any knowledge of its side effects, like decreased libido, weight changes, mood changes, and more dangerous ones like blood clots and death.

Not wanting to pee, poop and sweat is a perfectly valid reason to have your kidneys, intestines and sweat glands removed or chemically suppressed!

@lazerbian @icarusphoenix @mandyfromwv I thought people would still consult a doctor when they have (free) access to one. On the other hand as a teen I would probably also trust the pharmacist and be too impatient for the long waiting times of the gynecologist (in Germany that can be several months sometimes).

@fl3sch @icarusphoenix @mandyfromwv Plenty of countries in Europe have the pill available without prescription. You just go, ask for the pill, and whatever the pharmacist recommends.

@lazerbian @icarusphoenix @mandyfromwv I usually don't follow all this online discourse (or try to stay out of it for my own sanity) but I guess we can all agree on that social media and the promoted beauty standards or in general all the misinformation out there are rotting people's brains, no matter the age.

Right now there is an epidemic of anabolic steroids because very young people are taking and promoting them as if it was candy, with no side effects at all. Children and teens aren't known for making rational decisions.
