@mammalfriend it is 100% worth trying to find someone 2 do the battery at the same time tho bc these were notorious for not having usable battery life i remember unplugging mine before school as a kid and it would be dead by the time i got off the bus lol

@mammalfriend that is 100% a broken screen, the 4th gen is still old enough to where it has kinda fuckass construction so it's fairly finnicky to get into. if you take it to a local repair shop (not cpr or ubreak) they might be willing to crack at it. the screens are insanely cheap
