@cjc Yeah, I’ve noticed this as well, I think it’s the act of intentional sharing that makes it feel more final/formal. I’ve realized it doesn’t feel that way when I try to do a mural session. Same intent, different reactions.

When I put something together in many online whiteboards, I more than likely spent no more than 10 minutes on it, but when I share it with others it feels formal and final—oddly, the exact opposite of what a real whiteboard feels like.

I don't know who needs to hear this but, that list - you probably don't need to make a database for that 👀 I just spent the past 3 hours reducing the noise in a client's worskpace because they were originally set up with wayyyyy too many pages/databases

@_patriciamou @lennysan @coda @NotionHQ @googledoc @RoamResearch What in particular stood out in Coda vs Notion? Same as you, I’ve now seen @lennysan & a few others talk about Notion not working out. Personally, 3mos in and @NotionHQ has been great so far, except on Mobile, but conscious that productivity apps tend to wear off after a while.

wow, @coda > @NotionHQ/@Googledoc/@RoamResearch for documentation + notes. It's like having slack channels for your thoughts 🧠 and the writing experience feels elegant and quick. Thanks @lennysan for the tip!
