@DanSilvs73 They will unlikely work in football again at such a high level so are making as much hay when the sun shines. Worst job selling the businesses/assets you sponsored to buy. Humiliating. Let’s just hope they are goners after this window at the latest.
English

@DanSilvs73 100000%. Worry is that we need to get rid of all the shit they have bought and they have made it almost impossible for the club to effectively do this without them actually doing the work (ie there’s no one else left who can do this).

@herecomestroy @DanSilvs73 @Dannythefink 91-92-93 Porterfield Webb Fleck Joe Allen etc I beg to differ but they at least played for the shirt

Chelsea is a complete and utter shambles. This is the worst I’ve seen us on the pitch since the early ‘90’s and the stats back that up.
Egbahli and the clowns he’s employed are ultimately responsible and together with their enablers such as @Dannythefink…

I assume our non-executive directors including @Dannythefink of the HoL have insisted on, implemented and have audited rigorous checks and balances in our transfer dealings to ensure no breaches of anti-bribery legislation have occurred.

@ImproperFooty @henrywinter @WorldSoccerMag he won a lot of matches as odds on favourites v rubbish, correct.

@herecomestroy @henrywinter @WorldSoccerMag When Southgate took over we had just been knocked out by Iceland. In the previous tournament we were eliminated at the group stage. The WC before that we lost 4-1 against Germany.
Southgate made mistakes, but he won more knock out games than any other England manager in history

How far can England go at the World Cup under Thomas Tuchel? What’s par? Gareth Southgate raised expectations, built a strong culture and squad. Academies, EPPP and Lee Carsley have sent more talent Tuchel’s way. A look at England’s chances for @WorldSoccerMag #ENG
World Soccer@WorldSoccerMag
🏴 Thomas Tuchel has so much exceptional playing material to work with, players who love reporting for duty, desperate to deliver. Tuchel himself was brought in to deliver the World Cup. A semi-final might be the limit of England ambitions. 🖊️ @henrywinter

@DougieCritchley was outstanding at Stamford Bridge earlier this season

One player that I don't think has got enough credit outside of Sunderland is Enzo Le Fee.
11 League goals and assists is as many as Saka, it's 1 more than Palmer and Doku and 2 more than Ndiaye.
49 chances created ranks 14th in the Premier League, above Gibbs-White, Rogers and Bernardo Silva.
He's not just a flair player though, 85 tackles, ranks 11th in the Premier League, only 2 off Moises Caicedo's record.
He's an absolutely brilliant footballer, and to my (likely quite biased eyes) one of the most underrated players in the Premier League.
Still can't believe we managed to sign him when we sat 4th in the Championship!

@StamfordChidge @DanSilvs73 @Dannythefink 1992-3 we were 2nd at Xmas with a bunch of young players…then collapsed but they weren’t overpaid. Delap probably worse than Fleck fwiw?

@henrywinter Reece James if 100% fit is the best right back in world football

England are not in the class of France, Argentina or Spain. But they do have some exceptional talent. Jude Bellingham and Harry Kane are world class. So is John Stones - at his best. Trent Alexander-Arnold is world class - in possession. Declan Rice is having the season of his life. There are more reasons to be positive going into this tournament than negative. But England have to be bold and play to their strengths.
Imagine if England were bold and, if all fit, went into the World Cup…
Pickford; Alexander-Arnold, Stones, Guehi, O’Reilly; Anderson, Rice; Saka, Bellingham, Gordon; Kane.
Stones would have some covering to do of Alexander-Arnold when he raced upfield. Bellingham gets heavily scrutinised but he’s a big-game player, a winner and used to pressure at Real Madrid. He has to start. England also have an exceptional head coach in Thomas Tuchel who can make the right changes at the right time. England have a chance of progressing to the quarter-finals of the World Cup and then anything’s possible. But only if they are bold. Not gung-ho. But bold. Risk/reward. #ENG

JK’s Fanbite of Chelsea’s humiliating thumping by the Toffees of Everton. Can’t deal with being bullied can’t score any more. It’s a backwards & sideways w*nkfest. Have the wheels fallen off? Is Rosenior Potter in disguise? @Jonathankydd @chelseafanbite #chelseafc @chelseafc

@OllieGlanvill slow non-tackling c-nt comes on and quelle surprise we look porous at the back.

@OllieGlanvill Hopefully today is the last time we ever see Tosin play for us

It’s only Hull but he showed everything you’d want from him tonight on debut. Physicality, composure on the ball with both feet. Vision to pick out Estevao. He does still need work on his aerial duels but he’s a very solid talent
Nizaar Kinsella@NizaarKinsella
Mamadou Sarr could have an assist, alongside his shot cleared off the line, inside sixteen minutes versus Hull. An impressive start to life in England by the Afcon-winning defender.
