had a bad date with this girl but at the end of the day we’re all human beings out here trying…we all should be more kind and accepting to one another

@MBTYuGiOh In EP01 of 5Ds, Yusei attacks Handcuff Dragon and uses Equip Shot to re equip it to Montage Dragon and win. Yusei’s only equip until like EP23 is Fighting Spirit, a card that you’d almost never want to unequip. his next one is Prevention Star which could be a post of its own

English

@SerWitchKing @DistantCoder @Barkeye52 @Review_bra most cards do it in that way so its v easy to intuit what a card does where it’s placed in the card text. like if you ever need to see if something will happen if you out it, itll be at the bottom most of the time
this structure, plus PSCT, makes reading cards so easy
English

@SerWitchKing @DistantCoder @Barkeye52 @Review_bra usually card eff ordering is along the lines of Summoning Condition, On Summon Effect, Continuous Effect, any Trigger or Ignition effects on field, and Trigger effects when it dies or is sent to the GY.
English

Every single yugioh card needs 3 paragraphs of restrictions and reminders of retroactively added rules or it goes infinite turn 1 and the game implodes.
Worst designed game in history

now that the mana drama slop has died down i can post this
English

@Review_bra the only other thing I can think of here are locks, such as “You cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of the turn, except X”, but these are case by case scenarios, flavored by what strategy the card wants you to play, not unlike say MtG colors, but now u can opt in/out
English

@Review_bra can u provide an example? the only thing I can think of that could be reminder fluff is the “You can only use X once per turn”, which is a sentence at most. every other line of text actively impacts how a card works, such as activation timing/what it interacts with, which is good
English

both EXP methods are fine and fun. i prefer the older version for playthroughs bc the lopsided EXP gaining make for good storytelling. have a pokemon or two be slightly stronger than the rest really emphasizes how they’re the captains of the team
